SK march on after EG success

SK Gaming are the first side through to the Grand Final at Arbalet Cup Europe with a 19-16 victory of Evil Geniuses on de_dust2.

The American-based team started out really well, taking full advantage of playing as Terrorist, as they went into the second half up by five rounds.

In the second half, EG began the brighter once again, taking the pistol round, and it looked like they were in control of the match but SK responded right after to get back into the game as they claimed several rounds in a row.

But EG woke up in the latter stages of the second half, taking the match to overtime, where they were surprised by SK's well-organised play, as the Swedes nailed a 2-1 score at half-time and sealed a 19-16 win after taking the next two rounds as T.

Great tournament for EG. They are playing pretty well beating Again and mTw and forcing SK to overtime. but I think that if it was a bo3 match, then EG would have probably lost.

I agree with you, though one of SK's advantages there is that they have 3 players who are all three of them excellent AWP players.
