While FURIA - Spirit didn't go all three maps, excitement wasn't missing as the Russian team pulled off the upset. Joining Abdul "⁠degster⁠" Gasanov on the top of the scoreboard was the newcomer to the team Pavel "⁠S1ren⁠" Ogloblin, who was unphased by the pressure of the stage.

With Ninjas in Pyjamas and FURIA sent home, FaZe and Spirit will square off in the semi finals on Saturday, with two more quarter finals to be played before that, ENCE - Copenhagen Flames and Natus Vincere - HEROIC.
