wooSai lose Finnish squad

wooSai have lost their Finnish Counter-Strike 1.6 squad, following a series of missing payments.

The Finnish team Elukkaveljekset joined up with the wooSai organization prior to QR2 for the European Championship in Extreme Masters IV.

The team managed to reach the group stage, where they finished fourth, one win away from being qualified to play the relegation stages. The team furthermore attended DreamHack Winter qualifier in Estonia, where the team went to take top spot which qualified them for DreamHack Winter. At DreamHack Winter the team crashed in the round of 16, following a 2-0 loss against Millenium.

The team has however today announced that they have left the organization, as the team never got what was promised, contracts and payments for events. Daniel "RAGE" Andersson, team manager explains the situation in regards of leaving wooSai:

"First before we became officially wooSai, the agreement was that if we will be able to pass the QR2 group of EM, wooSai will pay for us the trip. Till now we got no contract, and we asked for it twice in order to have a legal agreement that we can count on. The guys had to pay 3 travels by their own because wooSai wasn't able to pay those things with a short announcement, although one of the event which was DH Qualifier in Estonia needed just 50€.

After the guys attended to Dreamhack and played on EM QR2 unmotivated due to the trust issues with the organisation, we decided today to part ways from the organisation and find another one that will be able to provide us what that we need.

Now we are looking for a new organisation in hope to walk in a new positive way."

The team has now headed back to Elukkaveljekset, with the transition back to their old home, the team announce that Anton "RUMBLE" Mikkola has left the team, as he will be serving the Finnish army soon. The team picks up former Power Gaming member Miikka "dRiim" Toroi to fill in as the new fifth.

Elukkaveljekset consist of following:

Finland Miikka "dRiim" Toroi
Finland Otto "danzer" Dimitrow
Finland Jirka "jigetus" Ryhti
Finland Kimmo "BASiC" Fagerholm
Finland Markus "shaker" Pyysalo

The team will now spend time to find a new organization, before deciding what the plans for 2010 will look like.

"their team manager now defends them, following Dreamhack he asked me to kick the Counter-Strike team and get a new one, because allegedly they were good aimers yet followed no clear tactics." Well stupid Sascha, that's the nice side of me that tried to keep your organisation with a CS team before we leaves. Did you really think that I'm going to leave the squad that I personaly brought to your organisation? if you did, that shows how smart you aren't. And the talking about the other team was also in order to see if you have the ability to support financialy in a team, so I can know if there's something good and worth in wooSai to stay for (for the finnish team) before we decide to leave. But no problem, I don't expect a lot from your brain.. you destroyed wooSai as an organisation, well done, just don't try to be smart on public.

Well, it seems like your'e not that smart aswell. I didn't gave a "yes" or "no" answer to the team that wanted to join wooSai, but I had also in mind the option of bringing a new team to wooSai in case we leave and wooSai has a little amount of money to support them. But wooSai didn't have even that - and the other team already got an organisation and we left. My main goal was to talk with Sascha about it in order to know if in the future (the near one) they will have a way to support the finnish team. Busted? no, that's just the way of Sascha to get away from his unprofessional behave as the head manager of wooSai , and I'm not the only one to say that , also the previous teams of wooSai says so, and also "Dave" - the ex CEO of wooSai says so .... Sascha couldn't even make a contract , and he just based his statement on that "50 euroes" line that I gave because he couldn't comment on the other things. Everything he will say, I can give him back an answer that will proove him wrong and show him how unprofessional he was and how wooSai can't support a team. Nothing else to add, you weren't part of the organisation so you don't know what happend from our side , we did nothing wrong.

This is sad, I believed in wooSai as an organization. I hope this team ends up in a stable organization that can bring them to the top, because I know they have the potential to do it. I just hope that dRiim is good for the team, I doubt it... The 3-4 latest teams he joined didn't really go well after his arrival. :P
