Chinese home court favorites from TyLoo win their first game at World Esports Masters by defeating Swedish team MYM.
The two teams were in fight as the Grand Opening of the Counter-Strike 1.6 group stage here at World Esports Masters. The Swedes managed to take home the all important pistol-round, starting T on de_train. It should however be over a lot sooner than MYM would expect, even with the pistol-round in their bag. The Chinese team got their defense set up strongly, which denied MYM over and over and at half-time it was 11-4 for TyLoo.
Winning the pistol-round MYM still a game ahead of them, but it was stopped by TyLoo. When getting enough money to buy those cheap AK47’s, TyLoo managed to take over the outer-bombsite and score rounds. At 16-7 TyLoo could raise their hands and claim victory, playing remaining rounds, TyLoo got the overall win of 18-12 and their first victory here at World Esports Masters.
Up next will be fnatic against wNv.cn, will China get two wins in a row? Last match for the day will be AGAiN taking on TitaNs, a match scheduled to start at 13:30CET.
typical brainless person, WEM is held by koreans in China, thx
i don't understand what you mean by one day one map, but i assume you're indicating bo1 in group play(it has always been bo1 in every tourny), and only 3 matches a day which makes the tournament lasts about week. I think it just a good idea to spread the all the matches, and give teams enough time to rest between matches for their best performance. Also, by playing one match at a time, we can literally watch any match without having schedule conflicts with other matches.

Every team stands completely different opposite one another on different maps - so forcing the teams to play specific maps againt specific opponents is not a good idea at all.
Furthermore BO1 will mostly never give you the rightful winner and with two and three matches a day there should be more than plenty of time for BO3.

termi bail have been top korean players for a long time, both can play fantastic, and against the best in the world. and you guys are CLUELESS how are you saying WMF is bad, they beat TyLoo in wNv.cn in bo3's to place above them in the past events with them. WMF is the king of asia, you are simply a chinese fan boy, or clueless, if you say otherwise.

Chinese teams always rape the Swedes, their fast/aggressive play style counters the Swedish play style perfectly, just like when Tyloo raped fnatic 16-7 at IEM chengdu, Chinese = Swedish Kryptonite

That's quite unnecessary of you to say, have you seen anyone making such a comment yet? Look at the whole thread, has anyone made such a comment? The problem is that it's always the winning part or a third part who cause all the flaming since they antagonize the losing part all the time..

Chinese teams play well in China because of their 10,000 fans screaming and yelling in chinese and telling them where everyone is on the opposite team...

1st - hopefully you can figure out a way to unify 10,000 audience to scream the same words
2nd - if you've watched the stream(apparently not), there is about less than 100 audience in the stadium.
3rd, when you were saying "always", but for once in history, there was 10,000 audience which is wcg2009, and i'm pretty sure they aren't all chinese.

i heard something about the war3 games played past few hours that players can hear clearly the voices from live boardcasting, lucky that war3 boardcaster is not much professional in war3(lol?) and players can't get much information about opponents when live.
and i don't know if this situation is fixed this moment cause it gives unfair advantages to chinese players, i hope the event official had fixed it already. :/
