The player is stepping aside to fulfill his compulsory civil service duty in Austria.

Sangal announced that Efekan "⁠S3NSEY⁠" Topaloglu has been moved to the inactive roster while he completes his civil service duty in Austria, which will take nine months.

The player's future after his civil service duty is still uncertain, as Sangal have also announced that they will determine what role in the team S3NSEY will have upon his return in the coming months.

S3NSEY will be out for nine months doing his civil service duty

S3NSEY was Sangal's longest standing player in the roster, having survived the organization's transition from a Turkish core to an international one, and spending a total of one year and three months in the team.

The Austrian AWPer helped Sangal reach ESL Challenger League and then secure a semi-final finish in said league's 40th season, although the team was then relegated back to Advanced in their second season. The 19-year-old was also a part of the Sangal squad that made the PGL Major Antwerp Europe RMR.

Sangal is now planning for the upcoming season, stating that transfer news and other updates are on the horizon.

civil service is basically working as an ambulance driver, medic, working in retirement places, hospitals, etc... its a very important service to society.

well i did it in an old ppls residence and it was a great experience. Hard work but the interactions with thankful (und unthankful) ppl who need help were often heartwarming. Would do it again if it would pay better. Thats the only downside, you do the shitjob for literally no salary

civil service means he has a job useful to socitey. being in the military means couple of weeks physical training followed by months of doing nothing and keeping the system alive. military service is basically young boys can play with guns and can imagine what a big pp feels like :)

I was doing civil service in austria as well. I made a training as a medic (rettungssanitäter) and did the course for ambulance driver. I learned a lot about helping people, understanding their fears and problems. I saw a lot of tough shit like car accidents. but the whole experience made a better human out of me. it formed my perspective on the world, society, other people. many of my friends did the military route, they did basically nothing and were bored af. they did not contributed to society. I on the other hand felt great after a 12 hour shift in an ambulance because I made life better for some people to some extent. It felt like I made a difference. felt great!

you cant "fix" a job to get more personal. Nearly every type of job is looked for it doesnt matter in what field. Without civil service there wouldnt even be enough personal to take you to your operating room for example

my 6month military 2018 was 1month "Grundausbildung" than 1month paramedic theory and than 1month paramedic practice at roteskreuz :D the last 3 months i pretty much just chilled in the army hospital

Yes in Austria there is still a compulsory service, you can choose between 6months military or 9months civil service like paramedic, working in hospital, helping diabled etc.
