Power Gaming defeat TyLoo 2-0

Power Gaming find themselves in the Grand Final at World Esports Masters, after they defeated TyLoo 2-0, in a match that was paused a lot of times due to steam and PC problems.

The Finnish team faced Chinese home court hope TyLoo, starting off on de_inferno. What was expected to be an intense battle to reach the Grand Final was washed away, as TyLoo did not stand s chance against Power Gaming. Especially Samu "plastE" Aalto made TyLoo having a hard time.

First map was besides a power-performance by Power Gaming, paused for almost one hour. First it was Juuso "contE" Sajakoski who had dropped from the game, he had a virus on his PC and they had to replace his hard drive. Later several players dropped from the game, due to the internet connection at the venue went up and down. Once the game continued, it did not take long before Power Gaming sealed the win with 16-6.

Second map de_nuke saw Power Gaming continued their dominance of TyLoo. The Finnish team started CT and once again TyLoo was not allowed to shine at all. Second map also had a few issues with players dropping from the game, mainly due to losing the connection to steam. Once Power Gaming had finished their CT side, they were up by 13-2. TyLoo got to claim a lot of CT rounds, but never came close to winning the Fins. Power gaming took the three rounds needed, to win 16-11 and 2-0 overall.

The Finnish team now find themselves in the Grand Final at World Esports Masters. It has been some time since a Finnish team has made it to the Grand Final at an international event of this size. It has also been quite some time, since a Finnish team has won a major event. We have to go all the way back to WSVG Louisville 2007, where 69N-28E won the event by defeating SK Gaming in the Grand Final.

Power Gaming will be up against fnatic and the match will be played 07:00CET Saturday. The winner of the event can pocket $22,500 while second place will cash in $7,500. Tune in tomorrow and watch the very last match from World Esports Masters 2009.

As far as i'm aware they've put in an application to postpone army duties for another year, they expect official confirmation of postponment in the post when they arrive home from WEM. But anything can happen, i guess.

even if they dont get it postponed, they can just go there and tell their back hurts very bad. The doctors there then give you precondition class "E", which means that you can come back next year. or next two years.. :D

You can choose civil service in stead, that's 13 months wiping asses at retirement homes etc. If you refuse both it's around 3 months in jail.

3 months? In what country are you living in :E Its 175 - 190 days in jail..also civil service is around 11 months, and instead of wiping asses theres plenty of options in the public departments for jobs.

The game is counter-strike and if you can't play the game, you shouldn't be in the final? aight? It was a rape since the beginnin, alot better teams in the finals, gl for tyloo in the future they might have to train another year, lol.

Who sad that tyloo can't play the game? They are 100 times better than PG(talking about this year) on many fronts results, performance, their game, attended events and much more, but that is that PG was way better in this tournament and they make into the finals, not tyloo.

Would it be impossible for them to play with steam in offline mode so it doesn't require an internet connection to play? Block the internet totally from all player computers? :/ Seems to be the main cause. I mean, developing a virus during a match seems rediculous :s But GG to PG, hope fnatic win the final but PG will give them hell i'm sure.

"up and down" What does it mean? I sure it 's not "go up and go down". Right?

Up and down = having and not having internet connection on the venue. A working connection is up and a non-working connection is down. Also including go (in this case past tense went) twice would be redundant and is really not needed ;)

the tournament was great if you leave out the final which was ridiculous :s im not saying that because pg lost the final and played well the rest of the tournament. im saying this 'cause we saw some great matches and 'cause the final was the most boring final i've ever seen.
