Ozstrik3r exits Millenium

Millenium captain Steeve "Ozstrik3r" Flavigni has confirmed he has departed the Counter-Strike team.

The French veteran had been linked with the exit door at Millenium following reports that the other players preferred to have a more skilled captain alongside them in order to go further in 2010.

Flavigni has now issued a statement to confirm the stories, revealing that the plans to have him removed from the team came from Guillaume "Geno" Ntep.

"I have been kicked from the team for my skill (this is not new and I have always said that, but it did not bother anyone before) and my lead, which some consider to be an obstacle to the progress of the team (I've always said that our problems came from CT side and not Terrorist, but it seems I am alone in that thought)," Flavigni said.

"It has been two weeks since I have known of Geno's intentions, but I still continued to the end thinking my team-mates would follow me."

Initial reports claimed that Millenium were interested in picking up oXmoze leader Mathieu "R!Go" Bridet, but Flavigni has refuted such suggestions.

This move leaves Millenium with the following roster ahead of the New Year:

France Christophe "SIXER" Xia
France Engin "MAJ3R" Kupeli
France Guillaume "Geno" Ntep
France Mahé "Yoshi" Martin

the worst is that Oz is the one who picked geno when he was with his shitty SSL team, and now he's fired when he was about to retire from gaming

This just makes Geno look bad, but people think about when everyone has to leave someone has taken the decision, it's just that now you know who it is.

As much as I think he is such a great player, he is, but I have said for months that -M- needs to replace him and pickup a new generation fragger, like oXmoze did with drizzer and loduN. Someone like moderation or demzu would be a great choice or maybe someone from Seven United, just my thoughts, gl Oz!

Somewhere between Chuck and God ;) But he shows some up and down performances, sometimes... Hope whatever that Millenium will send Oz to IEM with players he'll select. That story is so pathetic, Oz really doesn't deserve it, a few weeks before he retire as he did so many for them and french scene. My worst english ever, soz.

Oz has done a lot for them for sure but it doesn't mean they have to stick to him for life. I'm sad to see the way it all happened as they could have forced him to retire and keep his honor safe. Now it could really be something very good or very bad for them. Oz was always said to be the guy keeping everyone cool as they all had strong personnality. Now if they learned enough from him and have the maturity to keep themselves cool and recruit someone that can fill Oz's role then they'll be stronger than ever. But if a little thing goes wrong then we'll see the fall of Millenium in a year or so.

If they're looking for a new leader, they shouldn't have fired Oz, because they won't find as good a leader as he was (well, I mean a free leader willing to join -M-). And please, stop saying Msx should lead, he's an increadible scorer but he's not half as good as Oz when it comes to leading...

He was the weakest skilled player in -M-. True he has done a great job leading the team, but he is clearly their weak link, especially in the international scene, he is not up to par like the rest of his team. Gl Oz! Hope they pickup some1 from Seven United or Esport-eu

HaRts : wonderful but impossible i think KaRa : not better than Oz Dafunk : more skill but less game reading YanK : is with d4 and i dont remember see him leading For me, HaRts has the perfect profil, but he's playing with an old friend Iorek actually. So, dafunk is the man ? ESL : 10.12.09 20:55h Millenium new_member : dafunk
