Playzone pick up Elukkaveljekset

Playzone have completed the signing of the Finnish squad known as Elukkaveljekset.

The team parted ways with its former organization wooSai on the 8th of December last year. The team reported they did not get what they were promised, which lead to the team leaving the German based organization.

Elukkaveljekeset will continue to use Miikka "dRiim" Toroi, who stepped in, when Anton "RUMBLE" Mikkola left the team, to serve in the Finnish army.

"We think playzone is a stable organization and it has everything we need and can give us full support. It's good to wear their tag and now we don't have to worry about anything else but the game itself.

The three upcoming events (Lantrek / Assembly / IOL). Of course we expect only a win in every one of those events, but the IOL event will be a bit harder than the other two, since there are participating some more known teams." - Miikka "dRiim" Toroi told HLTV.org

Playzone consist of following:

Finland Miikka "dRiim" Toroi
Finland Otto "danzer" Dimitrow
Finland Jirka "jigetus" Ryhti
Finland Kimmo "BASiC" Fagerholm
Finland Markus "shaker" Pyysalo

Elukkaveljekset have signed a three month contract with Playzone, which also includes attending three events; Lantrek, Assembly Winter and IOL #2 Finals.

He is actually right, jigetus is one-man-army, rest of woosai was crap - maybe basic played quite well. And his aim is pure gold - he's got freakin quick and accurate hand believe me.

Jigetus and Basic are both great aimers, but dRiim is also very nice player. In my opinion, shaker and danzer are very important players, because their playing style is quite stable and they can almost always bring their best in every match. So don't judge them by viewing only one match.

Yeah? Well I've seen Basic and shaker holding the top fraggers place many times in different matches (vs. mTw etc.) and the frags don't always mean everything, for example you can get (in theory) 5+5 fast and easy frags by just spraying to (d)ecoing enemies after a victorious pistol round, but winning important 1vs1 situations will give you only 1. Of course frags ARE important, but the idea of the game allows also winning by playing wisely

That's why you've seen basic and shaker on top-frag positions probably. But I'm not talking about amount of frags/bomb plants/defuses/score. I want to point out in what freakin way he did kill enemies, usually those were important kills that gave them rounds. And he was freakin headshooting from almost 180 degree turns... in very quick style - maybe they were few actions like that but I must say his aim still impressed me alot.

For everyone who're wondering why jigetus isn't in Power Gaming, the answer is simply that Counter-Strike isn't all about aiming skills. Of course your shooting skill is one big factor, but what counts more, is the teamwork. To be a victorious team, you MUST: know how your teammates play in different situations, have a very good team spirit, tactics that match and work fine with everyone and experience of playing together from some time. My point is, that Jigetus has been playing for a quite long time with EGC:s other players. Like I said, the teamwork is one of the most important parts of being victorius. They've been playing together for many years and it really seems that they get along nicely ingame. No doubt same goes with Power Gaming. So I don't really see any reason to move Jigetus to PG:s lineup, when Elukkaveljekset, or now Playzone, can really be a potential number one team of Finland in this year, or the next. I'd say that the problem isn't mostly that players wouldn't be skilled, but that the organisations won't last for long and players can't really have a chance to settle down and consentrate only in gaming. I'm happy to hear any other ways of thinking. PS: I think that Jigetus is ONE of the best aimers in Finland, but I wouldn't start naming one man as the best, since everyone has their pros and cons. In fact, I've been playing against him in a cb.fi match and he was quite crazy, even when he didn't probably take it too seriously..

Good organization but bad team =( ESC is way overrated they gonna get rolled at IOL And Jigetus is probably the most overrated player in the world, people see his movies and think he is god but everyone in PG is way better than him, granted he has good aim but his play style and in-game smarts are not up to par with PG, hopefully natu and contE join PZ now which will make them halfway decent.

+++ You're so wright. And there are some oldschool (some of them inactive) players that are better than jigetus - natu, kookas, Twista, Shiri and toNppa.

Aim-wise none of those players can beat jigetus, kookas and Twista may come close but overall I think jigetus is better. Shiri was great when he was actively playing, but it was a long ago, I doubt that he could keep up with the current pro's. I sure miss him and barrack though, their CT setups were great watch. ToNppa never was that good, I really don't know why he was ever playing with the finnish best. Probably due to the fact I'm going to present in the next chapter ;) To me biggest problem in Finnish scene is that the very top is pretty inbreed, so every time they switch players, they choose from the same pool, most of the time a player who has already played with the team, unsuccesfully. dRiim, jigetus and kookas have tried their luck with the "big boys", and did well, but each one was released shortly anyway. Don't get me wrong though, I actually like the current line-up of PG, actually even better if contE would stay with the team. I really like natu both as a person and player, and respect him as he has really paved the way for other finnish players in the past, but I feel that contE is a better fit for the team. If he could just fix his little attitude problem towards fellow teammates and focus on being one of the most intelligent players in the world, they could surely be one of the best teams.

It´s "inbreed" for an obvious reason - lack of realised potential. The game is very much different in mixes and practice compared to tournament games - and we´ve seen that with many up and coming players that they simply play completily differently (read: usually worse) when it counts. Shit happens, that´s the way it goes. You can get away with one or maybe even two less experienced guys IF you have 3 guys in your team with top notch communication and passion for what they do. Experience cannot be taught, like we know. By being in shit situations time and time again, by having a hefty book of tricks to choose from and the ability to read signs to predict things is where the difference is made. You can always pay the prize and live through the learning experience and maybe eventually get up there. But that´s a bumpy road and takes loads of patience. A sole reason why so many teams have fell apart in the past and will fall apart in the future.

You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. jigetus is underrated if something. You'll see.

Exactly, when I first saw his play I thought it's a kind of joke or hax - "How the hell this guy plays with such an average team ?! I understand AdreN in Kazachstan but in Finland ?" - I thought.

Yes, jigetus is good, but people, he was left out of the team that currently is PG so he must've done something wrong, right?

He probably meant that he played in that specific lineup, not exactly in the same organisation at the time.
