New demosection design

The holidays are over, and this of course means we here at HLTV.org are back at work too!

Neffet has been forced to work all Christmas, but has produced a nice new demosection that is in line with the new coverage section design. It also comes with a few new features, namely comments and ratings, so now you can leave a comment to a great demo, and rate it also.



Soon  stats will follow from matches that have been parsed into our stats database, so stay tuned for that!

But that is not all, a few people have been requesting we join the wave of the future and get on Twitter, which we now are (I think..). Our Twitter account is http://twitter.com/HLTVorg. Here the news and later on maybe other stuff as well will be posted for all you Twitter freaks!

For me the most important thing is the "search map" button. I'd be great if you could choose map "de_nuke" and it would also show "best of 3 (maps)" in which de_nuke was played. And also scores of each map would be nice. But anyway gz for the good work.

Sadly that information is not in our database.. Back when this site was designed there were no BO3 matches, and I didn't think far enough to make the system flexible enough to support it, and now we are kinda stuck with the design we have..

There are only stats for matches where we have parsed the stats, and since we have been so busy we have a huge backlog of stats that needs parsing, WCG, WEM and so on, it will be done sometime in this January..
