Download limits for demos removed

Thanks to BitSkins, you can now enjoy your demo downloads like never before.

The holidays have come early for HLTV users who can now download multiple demos and enjoy no speed limits on transfers thanks to a partnership with BitSkins, who have become our demo partner as a part of a year-long deal.

Until now, users were limited to one GOTV demo download at a time and low transfer speeds. The reasons for this were the high costs of hosting and providing demo downloads for over 50,000 matches through a secure network such as Cloudflare.

With BitSkins becoming HLTV's demo partner, everyone can now download multiple demos at once and at a much faster rate than before.

Find download links for demos on our match pages, such as this one that features the competitive debut of Anubis, or scour through a list of all games with demos here.

To watch GOTV demos, download the file and then open it in CS:GO by typing demoui in the console and navigating to the location.

Hard to say, as I would say all the demos I watch are important in some way. It's just a long layering process where I add new stuff on top of the old stuff that I already know. One demo that does pop into mind though is some gla1ve demo on CT-side Nuke. I don't exactly remember which demo was it or who was it against, but I just remember learning so much new stuff from that one demo and it helped me a lot.

At the time of watching the demo (which was probably like a few years ago at this point), I wasn't that good at playing Nuke. Sometimes I had good or decent games because my aim was on point, but my gamesense on the map just wasn't there. From watching that demo I learned a lot about how to position myself around the main/outside area, what kind of utility should the outside player be throwing the deal with any sort of outside aggression, how the rotations should look like etc. There were so many different things that I learned from just that one demo, which I was actually really amazed at.

My goal is to go pro and having an easier access to all the demos here just makes my job a lot easier. I always learn something new from each demo I watch, so me having to spend less time just downloading the demos does actually make a fairly big impact. Edit: Yes, I actually enjoy watching demos more than live games as I can move back and forth, watch the rounds multiple times and watch the players who are not always shown on the stream.

For me learning new things is what brings me a lot of joy and in CS you will always have new things to learn, no matter what level you are at. Alongside that I just really enjoy the competitive side of it, as I am a rather competitive person as well. In my eyes it would be so awesome to combine this learning process with my competitive itch for the game. Of course it would also be really nice to make money out of doing what I love, but I wouldn't really say it's the driving factor for me.

No. Only US calls it soccer. The rest of the world call it football. US didn't invent football did they? You can also call Earth a plate (suggesting a sphere is flat, except it's not) which is not, bit you can do lots of stupid stuff which makes no sense.
