H2k miss European Finals
H2k Gaming will be missing Extreme Masters IV European Championship Finals, due to sudden illness of Mattias "Snajdan" Andersen.
The Swedes had booked their ticket to the finals by finish top spot of their group, which came about, with a 2-1 victory against mTw. The team has the past few days been at Inferno Online in Stockholm, but when Mattias "Snajdan" Andersen arrived, he showed clear indications of being ill.
Andersen's condition kept getting worse and was Tuesday brought to the hospital. The doctors told Andersen to take a rest and under no circumstances, would be able to travel with the team to Brühl this weekend, as the doctor prohibited Andersen to leave Sweden.
The team did not want to attend the event with a stand-in and have now canceled their attendance at the European Championship Finals. This leaves Group A with just five teams and the need of a replacement.
Contacted by HLTV.org, Michal "Carmac" Blicharz stated that MYM would be next in line, in the event of a team dropping out. Stay tuned for updates regarding the team to replace H2k Gaming.
