Anonymo round out roster with SZPERO

The veteran Pole is back in action after an unsuccessful stint with 9INE.

Anonymo have announced the signing of experienced in-game leader Grzegorz "⁠SZPERO⁠" Dziamałek. The 31-year-old will take over the captaincy of the team and fill the void left by Oskar "⁠oskarish⁠" Stenborowski's departure in late 2022.

The 31-year-old was a part of 9INE until December, when the Swedish organization allowed his contract to expire after a four-month partnership in which he struggled to perform as an IGL-AWPer hybrid.

SZPERO will be Anonymo's new captain going into 2023

SZPERO only averaged a 0.99 rating in his short stint with 9INE, but managed to find success regardless of his individual performance as he led the polish squad to victory at ESL Challenger League S42 Europe, which rewarded them with $20,000 and a spot at ESL Pro League Season 17 Conference Europe.

9INE failed to carry their momentum into the competitions following ECL S42 and crashed out of CCT North Europe Series 1 in 20-22nd place, followed by other disappointing finishes at CCT Central Europe Series 3 and CCT North Europe Series 2.

Anonymo will look to turn a new page alongside their new captain after a poor end to 2022 which included a 20-22nd exit from CCT North Europe Series 2 and a 13-16th elimination from ESEA Advanced Season 43 Europe at the hands of Into the Breach. Following their exit from Advanced, previous IGL oskarish decided to not renew his contract with Anonymo and left the organization before the new year.
