Monte make a change less than a week before their ESL Challenger League debut.

Frederik "⁠Fessor⁠" Sørensen has been benched from Monte, ending a four-month stint competing for the Ukrainian organization. The 21-year-old Dane joined Monte less than a month after parting ways with Astralis Talent, and since his arrival the team has enjoyed moderate success, including a recent promotion to ESL Challenger League.

Fessor consistently mustered good individual performances under the Monte banner, averaging a 1.14 rating across 72 maps. He ended up in the red at only one event out of the seven he played, finishing the IEM Road to Rio Europe RMR with a 0.79 rating.

The former Astralis Talent player is looking for offers

The benching follows some good news for Fessor. The rifler stated in his TwitLonger that he finally received the correct diagnosis and medication from his doctors, which should allow him to treat and relieve the immense pain that he has been in for the last few weeks. He hopes to return to the server in the next two weeks.

Monte has yet to announce who his replacement will be, but will be playing with Viktor "⁠sdy⁠" Orudzhev as a stand-in for their European Pro League Season 5 match tomorrow.

Ahhh of course, how did I make that mistake. Regardless idk I feel like kng screwed up every single window of opportunity he had. His fns debacle completely killed the entire Brazilian scene minus sk at the time. And his mibr fiasco lost him and his team the one true last chance he had

Wont work. They have very different play style. Also, That would be career killer move for fressor. cause He wouldnt have a stable position. His performance will drop and He would be booted in 6 months. At this point the only person who should take Xyp's position is antoher Veteran towards the tail end of the career.

Fessor's rep isn't squeaky clean so people are somewhat hesitant to come to his defence. That said in this case it's probably safe to. That said Monte is a small scale team that probs can't afford a long break from a key player.
