The 23-year-old AWPer is set to ditch the supposedly sinking ship that is HEET.

Aurélien "⁠afro⁠" Drapier is on the verge of joining LDLC to replace Remi "⁠Diviiii⁠" Alexandre, according to a report from 1pv.fr.

Also included in the report is the news that the current iteration of the HEET project is coming to an end, as a result of financial problems as well as the disappointing results the roster achieved.

afro averaged a 1.12 rating in 2022

HEET's CS:GO manager released a tweet confirming the information stated in the report that his team would not be participating in EPL Conference, whilst also stating that they are in a rebuilding process and more information would come in the next days or weeks.

afro's current side, HEET, spent 2022 hovering in and around the top 30, peaking as high as No. 18 early in the year. Whilst the team experienced a degree of success, winning the Elisa Invitational Spring and ESL Challenger League Season 40, they struggled to kick on in tournaments featuring a higher level of competition, like ESL Pro League and the Antwerp and Rio RMRs.

LDLC by contrast spent last year competing in the lower tiers of CS and only really experiencing any success in regional tournaments, like the SteelSeries Nova Cup France. The peak world ranking the current squad has achieved is No. 67.
