Devilwalk becomes Bad News Eagles' new coach

After five months on the sidelines, Jonatan "⁠Devilwalk⁠" Lundberg has chosen his new home in the Kosovar squad.

Bad News Eagles have announced that they have added Devilwalk to the team as their new coach. The Swede comes in to replace Klesti "⁠stikle-⁠" Kola, who parted ways with the team in early December due to differences in their visions.

Devilwalk has stated that he had other offers from established organizations but decided to opt for the Kosovar squad, who have been on the search for backing for the past year.

Devilwalk gets back into action with BNE

In a statement given to HLTV, the two-time Major winnner shared his reasoning behind taking the gamble, saying Bad News Eagles are a "coach's wet dream" due to their high skill and potential for improvement.

"I chose BNE because I really like the boys. That might sound weird, but I believe in what they are doing and I think there’s massive potential for improvement. It's a coaches wet dream, high skilled with loads of details to implement,” Devilwalk said.

"I am not worried over the language barrier because all the callouts are still in English even if they speak Albanian, so with the visuals I can guestimate what is being said to a pretty accurate degree, and it’s only gonna get better."

Devilwalk gets back into action after five months on the sidelines. He is no stranger to competing without an organization, as his last tenure was with an organization-less Swedish team Savage, who featured the likes of Maikil "⁠Golden⁠" Selim and William "⁠draken⁠" Sundin until they broke apart in August. Since then, the Swede appeared as an analyst on the Elisa Masters Espoo broadcast and as a commentator in NAVI's Born to Be Brave charity tournament.
