1win part with another player in anticipation of the rumored additions of Kirill "⁠Boombl4⁠" Mikhailov and Aleksei "⁠NickelBack⁠" Trofimov.

Aleksandr "⁠glowiing⁠" Matsievich and 1win have parted ways following a "mutual agreement," the organization has announced on Twitter.

The 29-year-old had been with the organization for over a year and a half and helped them reach the top-30 ranking at several points over that period, on the back of deep runs tournaments such as the Malta Vibes Knockout Series and their more recent qualification to the IEM Rio Europe RMR.

1WIN are undergoing an overhaul

glowiing's departure from the Russian squad comes amidst rumors of a new team being built under the 1win banner. The first of three anticipated additions has already been announced in former Entropiq star Igor "⁠Forester⁠" Bezotecheskiy, who replaced Egor "⁠flamie⁠" Vasilyev on Friday

According to CIS insider Aleksei "⁠OverDrive⁠" Birukov, 1win will complete the roster with former NAVI captain Boombl4 and ex-Entropiq in-game leader NickelBack.

There is absolutely no reason to have both nickelback and boombla in one team. That would mean terrible firepower potential right away. Either one or another (i would prefer nickelback i guess).

Don’t forget he was 0.98 rating entry fragging and igl on navi against t1 opponent. So without igl role he will be better for sure. You currently think deko is insane but we don’t know if against t1 he will keep 1.21 rating.

Look at flames, they have like 3 IGLs but they have a superstar AWPer who makes them decent. 1WIN is even better than them on paper so they should be fine if the team chemestry is there

Flames is top30 team lol, I think 1win has ambitions for top10 but the management is too stupid to understand that media<results so they went for boombl4 when they already have igl, boombl4 won't add much in terms of fan base just because he's ex Navi player, let alone firepower, that trick can only work once effectively, in their case it was flamies addition, all their fan base is there now because of deko

1WIN ambition is probably to be a team like Sprout/old Entropiq, and that is their ceiling. Their main objective is going to the major and same applies for Flames. U can't be a top 10 team without partner slots anyways

I don't believe Boombl4 would reach success with this team. Dude is used to call rounds when his teammates are GOAT and 3 top tier players, and what can he do when Travis can't hit 10 bombs per map on tier 1 tournament?
