00NATION down 0-2 ahead of SA RMR closed qualifier day two

The team around Epitacio "⁠TACO⁠" de Melo and Marcelo "⁠coldzera⁠" David are a loss away from early elimination from the BLAST.tv Paris Major qualifiers.

Two rounds have been played on the first day of the Paris Major South America RMR closed qualifier and the competition heads into the first advancement and elimination matches.

On the day after the team failed to qualify for IEM Rio, 00NATION's struggles against some of the underdogs marked the opening day of the RMR closed qualifier. Narrow losses on Mirage to Flamengo (14-16) and Paquetá (17-19) put the TACO-led squad, who are the third-highest-ranked team in attendance, in danger of elimination.

00NATION face an early threat of elimination

With seven spots at the Americas RMR on offer, 00NATION now need to win three series in a row and potentially an extra match in the seventh-place decider to advance to the final qualifying stage taking place in Monterrey, Mexico, on April 5-9. Their match in the 0-2 pool will be against ARCTIC, scheduled for 18:00 .

Another elimination match will be played between WINDINGO and INTZ. Meanwhile, Fluxo and Imperial will face off for direct qualification to the RMR, as will BESTIA and ODDIK.
