First three teams qualify for Asia RMR

Grayhound, Rare Atom, and IHC won their respective qualifiers to earn their place at the BLAST.tv Paris Major Asia RMR.

Three of the four Asia RMR closed qualifiers are nearing their conclusion as the first three teams have been locked in for the final Paris Major qualifying stage taking place in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on April 4-8.

In the Oceania tournament, Grayhound confirmed their status as the dominant force of the region as they went undefeated through the upper bracket with victories over KZG, Antic, and Encore to lock in the first of two Asia RMR spots on offer.

IEM Katowice surprise package IHC breezed through the Asia qualifier

Encore will have another shot at qualifying in Sunday's match at 09:00 against VERTEX, who recently rounded out their roster with Jared "⁠hazr⁠" O'Bree and battled through the lower bracket following an earlier loss to Sean "⁠Gratisfaction⁠" Kaiwai and company.

Rare Atom topped the Chinese qualifier after a hard-fought victory over Lynn Vision in the upper bracket final, having previously beaten TYLOO and Take me away.

All three of their previousl opponents are still in the running for the second Asia RMR spot, with Take me away facing TYLOO in the lower bracket final and Lynn Vision awaiting the winner in the consolidation final.

IEM Katowice surprise package IHC were undisputed favorites in the Asia qualifier, sitting in 19th place of the world ranking following their run to 9th-12th place in Poland featuring wins over FURIA and Cloud9, and clinched the top spot there without any issues.

Their upper final opponents Eruption await their opponent in the consolidation final, where the other Asia RMR spot will be decided. NKT and Renewal are also in the running for the spot, facing off on Sunday at 09:00 before the winner takes on Gan-Erdene "⁠dobu⁠" Batbold's team.
