BLUEJAYS parts ways with team, players to go their own ways

The North Macedonian players, as well as their Spanish coach, will no longer remain together as they hit the free agent market.

BLUEJAYS's North Macedonian squad is no more as the team and organization have parted ways. Moreover, the players will also pursue their own paths instead of sticking together after declining performances in the first two months of 2023.

The squad disbanded after a year on the cusp of breaking into the top 30 and the loss of in-game leader Damjan "⁠kyxsan⁠" Stoilkovski to Apeks. Pavle "⁠stYleEeZ⁠" Stojanovski was also let go late in 2022 as veteran Anel "⁠NENO⁠" Ceković and youngster Zoran "⁠xicoz⁠" Markovski joined, but the team did not manage to find their previous form.

BLUEJAYS' hottest prospect, CacaNito, will fill in for ATK at ESL Pro League

Before losing kyxsan and the departure of stYleEeZ, BLUEJAYS won the minor IeSF 2023 World Champioonship on LAN, beating IHC in the grand final. They often fell at the last hurdle, however, such as becoming the top team at the IEM Road to Rio 2022 Europe RMR Replacement Play-In, finishing runners up at ESL Challenger League Season 42, or falling in the playoffs of online tournaments. With the new roster the losses started to become more dire at the turn of the year and came in the group stages, which eventually led to the team's dissolution.

Star player Aleksandar "⁠CacaNito⁠" Kjulukoski, who was on ENCE's shortlist after the departure of Lotan "⁠Spinx⁠" Giladi in 2022, will be seen playing top-flight Counter-Strike when ESL Pro League's Group D kicks off. His first match with the North American side will come against none other than the aforementioned ENCE, who will debut their new signing Guy "⁠NertZ⁠" Iluz at the event in Malta.
