The Russian-Israeli-Lebanese team is the first to advance from the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Middle East RMR Closed Qualifier.

The last of the Asia RMR closed qualifiers is nearing its end, and Invictus International are the first Middle East team to book their spot at the Asia RMR set to take place in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on April 4-8.

There is now just one more spot yet to be decided at the Mongolian RMR event, with Ooredoo Thunders, Divine Vendetta, and Twisted Minds still in the running for the final RMR ticket.

DavCost's Invictus International have qualified for the Asia RMR

Invictus International secured their RMR berth without dropping a single map, making their way through GhostFaces and Divine Vendetta on their way to the deciding series. There, they met Shuaib "⁠D0cC⁠" Ahmad and Nikola "⁠Lobanjica⁠" Mijomanović's Twisted Minds roster and defeated them in two maps. Tal "⁠meztal⁠" Hahiashvili had a wonderful showing, putting up a 1.68 rating and 110 ADR to power his team through the series.

The qualifier has been marred by issues for South African teams, who were forced to play on high ping due to the qualifier being played outside of their region. Goliath forfeited their second match after losing their opener 0-16, while Bravado couldn't play out their game against Divine Vendetta due to a power outage.

The schedule for the remaining matches is as follows, with three European-Middle East mixes left in the running for the final available spot at the Asia RMR:

Message to all of African csgo. Ask for a qualifier. Stop being afraid to get the entire community involved. It's a fucking shame that there was an African qualifier I'm 2019 and we've gone backwards since. Also India get the community involved and change the region qualifier to get better ping. Organizers who aren't starladder seem to think that they can just make a middle east qualifier and it'll figure itself out. Arica csgo fucking grow some balls and ask for change from the organizers and ask the community for help ffs it's embarrassing.

Are talking about Starladder CSA qualifier for Asia Minor? Because then it is a question about how much StarLadder pushed for it since they were one of the first to do asian qualifiers for a slot on their tournaments, hosting events with international teams there, etc. Could be a case of orginizer and not Valve pushing for minor regions.
