ECSTATIC qualify for ESL Challenger Melbourne
After narrowly missing out on a spot at IEM Rio, HONORIS are once again heartbroken after faltering at the last hurdle in the European qualifier for ESL Challenger Melbourne.
ECSTATIC are the next team confirmed to participate at ESL Challenger Melbourne after they traversed the European closed qualifier for the $100,000 competition.
In the double elimination bracket, the Danes beat Sprout and Aurora without losing a map before falling at the hands of HONORIS the first time the two teams met, in the upper bracket final.

ECSTATIC then edged out FORZE in the consolidation final to earn a rematch against Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas's team, in which they took revenge for their earlier loss on Ancient and came back from 10-13 behind on the deciding Vertigo.
The Danes will join seven other teams in Melbourne on April 28-30. Complexity, IHC, Bad News Eagles and Grayhound received invites based on their ESL World Ranking position, while Rare Atom clinched the first qualifying spot from Asia. The North American and Oceanian qualifiers will determine the final two participants later this month.
