kRYSTAL joins BNE as assistant coach for Major cycle
The German, who recently transitioned into the world of coaching, looks to help the Kosovar roster earn three consecutive Major berths.
Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend has announced via Twitter that he is linking up with Bad News Eagles for the duration of the BLAST.tv Paris Major cycle as the team's assistant coach.

The German followed up by saying that he has been assisting the Kosovar-majority roster for the past three weeks, aiming to get the team in Major-contending form in time for their RMR A opening matchup versus 1win on April 6.

The German is mostly known for his storied, decade-long playing career, where he played for a long list of well-known organizations, including GODSENT, ALTERNATE aTTaX, and Sprout. The 29-year-old even made a hat-trick of Major appearances during his time with PENTA, notably leading his countrymen to quarter-final appearances at DreamHack Winter 2014 and ESL One Katowice 2015.
kRYSTAL's only experience in the coaching department comes from his two-month stint with Niels Christian "NaToSaphiX" Sillassen's undefined roster, whom he joined as the head coach back in February after hanging up the mouse and transitioning to a behind-the-team role in December. The European ensemble struggled to get much going with the German's input, however, a 9-16th place run through CCT South Europe Series 3 being the sole highlight.
kRYSTAL is Bad News Eagles' second addition to their coaching staff since the new year. The Dionis "sinnopsyy" Budeci-led lineup previously added Jonatan "Devilwalk" Lundberg to their ranks as the team's skipper back in January, with the Swede saying to HLTV at the time that he "[believes] in what they are doing," and that "there’s massive potential for improvement."
Bad News Eagles will look to qualify for their third consecutive Major once play begins at the BLAST.tv Paris Major RMR on April 6. The Kosovar troupe previously made it to the IEM Rio and PGL Antwerp Majors, doing so without organizational backing to become the first team to do so since dAT at ESL One Cologne 2014.
Bad News Eagles will have the following roster for the BLAST.tv Paris Major cycle:
Genc "gxx-" Kolgeci
Flatron "juanflatroo" Halimi
Rigon "rigoN" Gashi
Sener "SENER1" Mahmuti
Dionis "sinnopsyy" Budeci
