Imperial-TeamOne, MIBR-00NATION headline first Americas RMR elimination games

Four teams will be eliminated from Major contention on the second day of the Americas RMR.

The second round of matchups for the BLAST.tv Paris Major Americas RMR have been set following the end of day one, which began with an extended technical delay causing matches to start nearly two hours later than intended.

Due to those issues, the 1-0 best-of-one round of games were moved to day two, while the 0-1 elimination round of games remained locked in at their previously scheduled times.

As such, the 1-0 games will be the first to take place on day two, with notable games including FURIA taking on Evil Geniuses and Complexity facing off against paiN.

The 0-1 elimination games draw more interested as the first set of teams will be eliminated from the competition, and the matchups already set teams up for heartbreak.

MIBR, despite performing well in online competitions in North America, are already on the brink of elimination following a loss to Flamengo on day one and will need to fend off 00NATION to keep their tournament hopes alive. Similarly, Imperial were put on the back foot by Evil Geniuses, and will face TeamOne in the other opening 0-1 matchup.
