Catch up on day two of the Asia RMR as it happened in the form of live updates.

Day two concludes
18:00 - Striker

Day two has concluded in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and we're signing off from the Asia RMR for today. The lower bracket will play out on Saturday and it will be an earlier start this time:

Grayhound move on to the upper final
17:55 - Striker

It wasn't the easiest of games and Grayhound needed some individual plays to make it happen, but the Australians have secured the 16-12 victory over Eruption.

The first of two Major spots up for grabs in Asia will be contested between Grayhound and The MongolZ on Sunday after the two teams enjoy a day off.

Grayhound take over on the T side
17:41 - Striker

Joshua "INS" Potter's triple in the pistol round made things even and more individual brilliance from the same man has set Grayhound up for success. 13-10.

Eruption's mid-round move pushes the game in their favor
17:22 - Striker

It's neck and neck, but Eruption have the edge going into the second half. 8-7.

Fun fact: dobu played in the original TheMongolz team in 2016
16:55 - Striker

Final match of day two starts
16:53 - Striker

Grayhound vs. Eruption for who joins the upper bracket final and fights for a spot at the Paris Major. It's Ancient.

TheMongolz earn two chances to qualify for the Major
16:30 - Striker

The Mongolians are straight through to the upper bracket final with a 16-11 win over Rare Atom. The Chinese squad will be left ruing giving up advantages throughout the match and the following anti-eco that gave The MongolZ match point:

TheMongolz pull away after a close start to the half
16:02 - Striker

Ten rounds on the offense for The MongolZ after a strong finish to the first half of Nuke. Rare Atom gave away a couple of 4v2 and 5v2 advantages and that cost them dearly.

Rare Atom vs. TheMongolz collide next
15:24 - Striker

The two teams who have taken turns qualifying for international tournaments from Asia and are separated by just one point in the HLTV ranking take on each other up next.

Despite being from the same region and often making it far in the same tournaments, the two teams haven't actually met each other as often as you might think — only twice since December and it's 1-1 in series, 2-2 in maps.

We reach upper semi-finals
15:10 - Striker

Eruption made light work of Invictus International with a strong defense on Nuke and move on to the upper semi-finals to join the three big favorites of the tournament. Here are the final two upcoming matches of day two in Ulaanbaatar:

Grayhound breeze past TYLOO
14:10 - Striker

The three favorites pegged to fight for the two Major spots on offer in the Asia RMR have so far looked dominant. The MongolZ, Rare Atom, and now Grayhound have passed their opening matches without any drama.

The trio will be joined in the upper semi-finals by the winner of the final match of the opening round between Eruption and Invictus International.

Rare Atom 16-6 VERTEX
12:22 - Striker

Easy going for Rare Atom. Despite two of their players not feeling up to 100% they make short work of VERTEX to move on to play against The MongolZ in the upper bracket semi-final later today.

Rare Atom take control of the match in the first half
12:05 - Striker

The match resumed from 1-3 and Rare Atom lost the first round, but a 2v4 win on B put the favorites on the board. From there they've looked dominant off the back of Yi "JamYoung" Yang's 20 kills in the first half.

We are live!
11:42 - Striker

Rare Atom vs. VERTEX finally resumes and a round has been played! It's 4-1 for the Australians.

Still waiting
11:15 - Striker

The broadcast has been showing fluff content for the past 20 minutes as we're still waiting for the Rare Atom-VERTEX match to resume.

Casters say we're ready to start... hopefully
10:52 - Striker

The stream is live and the casters say we are "hopefully" ready to get started with day two of the Asia RMR. I won't really believe it until I see it, but here's hoping, indeed.

Here's a full recap of the first day at the RMRs
10:40 - Striker

While you wait for the first match to begin, you can catch up on what happened on day one of the Paris Major RMRs in our recap.

Day two begins with some good news and some bad news
09:38 - Striker

It's day two of the Asia RMR taking place in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Here's hoping it will go better than the disastrous day one that saw only one out of six matches played due to a host of technical issues.

First, the good news. Andrew "kaze" Khong will play in Rare Atom's match against VERTEX, as he is feeling better after falling ill on the first day of play at the Asia RMR.

The bad news is that the organizers, MESA, have informed HLTV.org that the start of the second day has been postponed by an hour in order to ensure issues from day one have been fixed.

Here's the updated schedule of day two:

MESA probably offered the cheapest contract to blast, and blast of course wanted to save money. That's why they hosted the American RMR too in Mexico that has electricity outbreaks. Not sure who is hosting the American RMR, but I do know that it's in Mexico.

just cancel the event and make it in Australia or China with good orgs that can host the event. Don't make blast look like fools, I don't understand who came up with the idea that Mongolia will be great place to make the RMR'S like Australia and China is there ffs. At this point just cancel the event cuz i don't think we will se these games tbh.
