Ancient goes to Rare Atom, day concluded
20:49 - Professeur
The marathon game has finally reached its end, at nearly 3AM local time, as Rare Atom earn a 16-13 on Inferno for a 2-0 in the series. The result means former titans of the region, TYLOO, once again won't be playing at a Major.
Meanwhile, the top four of the Asia RMR consists of the following four teams, with the first two playing the upper bracket final, and the second two the lower bracket final. Only two will earn their spots at the final CS:GO Major in Paris.

Ancient goes to Rare Atom
19:22 - Professeur
The favorites have come out on top on TYLOO's map pick with Jingxiang "Mercury" Wang posting an impressive 1.43 rating. Inferno is next!
The tech issues mean that the game will finish way past midnight, as the mid-series break is happening at 1:25 AM local time.
Game has resumed
19:14 - Professeur
The game has been restored and we are nearing the end of the first map.
You wouldn't believe it
18:52 - Professeur
And another technical pause hits as Rare Atom sit the brink of victory, 14-10. Information from the field is pointing in the direction of a server crash.
Back underway!
17:51 - Striker
Now we really are back underway. Rare Atom take the early lead on Ancient after waiting for the game to resume for the past two hours.
What a tease
17:51 - Striker
The match went live... for about a few seconds before it was paused again.
Back to technical issues
17:08 - Striker
Technical issues have once again put the tournament on hold. The latest report is that some players are experiencing loss again.
The Chinese representatives lock horns in the final series of the day
16:10 - Striker
Rare Atom face TYLOO in the last best-of-three of the day. It's Ancient first and Inferno next — two maps Rare Atom have not lost in the past three months.
It's another Anubis win for Twisted Minds and they move on in the lower bracket
15:45 - Striker
Shuaib "D0cC" Ahmad and Ahmad "SpAwNnS" Kanaan have been on a tear so far as Twisted Minds eliminate Eruption and move on to the top four.
Eruption survive two match points and force Anubis
14:26 - Striker
Twisted Minds could not finish off the job in first overtime despite having two opportunities to do it, and Eruption went on to secure the second map in double overtime. Anubis is up next.
Eruption on the ropes, it's overtime
14:02 - Striker
From down 5-13 Twisted Minds have put Eruption on the ropes, forcing overtime with a superb defense of Mirage.
Loba's desk-slam moment
13:17 - Striker
ohnePixel called it and so it happened — that was a desk-slam moment indeed. Eruption are back in control with a big lead on map two (7-2).
D0cC leads Twisted Minds to opening map win
12:40 - Striker
Nikola "Lobanjica" Mijomanović has been setting expectations so low that any sort of success on their part feels like a surprise. Twisted Minds take Eruption's pick of Overpass and head to Mirage.
Invictus International eliminated
11:24 - Striker
Overtime goes TYLOO's way after all and they eliminate Invictus International. The Chinese squad will play one more series later today against their local rivals Rare Atom at 15:45 .
Lobanjica is back with his shenanigans as Twisted Minds hope to continue their run, facing an uphill battle against Eruption.
Map two heads to overtime
11:10 - Striker
It was looking like TYLOO would close the series in two, but Invictus forced overtime on Mirage on the back of two Mori "MOREE" Mizrahi clutches.
Watch: meztal nears 40-bomb with a crazy 1v4
09:51 - Striker
Tal "meztal" Hahiashvili's 39 kills and Vadim "DavCost" Vasilyev's 31 were not enough to bring down TYLOO, but this will be a performance to remember. Just watch this crazy 1v4 transfer from the Israeli.
"We won a game? How?" - Lobanjica
08:42 - Striker
It's over for VERTEX at the Asia RMR
08:18 - Striker
After being forced to field their coach, VERTEX were eliminated by Twisted Minds after a three-map affair. Lobanjica's mix team was firing on all cylinders on Inferno with three players finishing at around 100 ADR.
Twisted Minds play again at 12:00 against Eruption. In the meantime, TYLOO will face off against Invictus International after both teams had a tough time in the opening round.
VERTEX tie things up on Overpass
07:19 - Striker
Coach David "Kingfisher" Kingsford's triple in the second pistol round set up VERTEX for near-flawless CT side and we're heading to Inferno to decide.
malta still out for map two
06:00 - Striker
Kingfisher will continue to field for VERTEX on Overpass as Liam "malta" Schembri keeps resting.
First map goes to Twisted Minds
05:46 - Striker
After the close first half Twisted Minds took control of the T side of Anubis with SpAwNnS putting up some big boy numbers — 17-5 in the second half from the Syrian rifler.
Kingfisher is holding his own, but Twisted Minds lead
05:17 - Striker
So far the Australians are staying competitive despite the situation and it's as close as it gets heading into the second half. 8-7.
It's only round one and Kingfisher already has a double
04:54 - Striker
Well then. The coach is getting on the board early in the pistol round with two kills.
Coach Kingfisher subs in for an ill malta
04:35 - Striker
Our man on the ground has learned that VERTEX are subbing in their coach, Kingfisher, due to malta feeling ill.
The last time the coach played a match recorded on HLTV was in 2020 when he subbed for AVANT in ESEA MDL Season 34 Australia.

The match is delayed, a player is feeling unwell
04:30 - Striker
Casters promise this has nothing to do with technical issues. It seems a bug is going around Mongolia, as someone is not feeling well.
Lower bracket begins at the Asia RMR
04:20 - Striker
We're back with updates from the Asia RMR taking place in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Action is only just about to kick off and we're already hearing Lobanjica say on the stream that poor Geordie "Mac" McAleer, one of the commentators, looks like a serial killer.

On the slightly more serious note, he also said that he expects his team, Twisted Minds, to forget what they had talked about ahead of the first elimination game against VERTEX.
"We did, like, 'let's do this, let's do that,' but everyone's brain is gonna shut down and it's just going to be running around. Inferno [against TheMongolz], we prepared things, but we did nothing. When the game started, everybody was nervous."
The match is about to start, and here's what the rest of the day's schedule looks like:
