Americas RMR round 3 pits Liquid against FURIA

In another highlight match of the bunch, Complexity will play Imperial for survival at the tournament.

The third-round matchups at the Americas RMR in Monterrey, Mexico, have been set after the second round concluded and saw four teams get within one win from the BLAST.tv Paris Major and four teams eliminated from contention.

The headliner of the day will come in the qualifying 2-0 pool, which pits the two best teams from the Americas against one another in Liquid vs. FURIA. The same pool will also have paiN facing Fluxo for a berth in Paris.

The other eight teams still in contention will lock horns in the 1-1 pool, which in the Americas case is the elimination zone due to there only being five Major spots on offer.

For Complexity, this means a tough matchup in Imperial — a rematch from not only the IEM Road to Rio RMR bout that broke Complexity's hearts but also two close encounters from more recent times in ESL Pro League Season 17 and BLAST Premier Spring Showdown.
