Mirage was a breeze for FURIA and they go through to the BLAST.tv Paris major with a 2-1 win over Liquid. The Brazilians are still to play for a Legends Stage spot tomorrow against the other team that just qualified, paiN.

After missing PGL Major Antwerp and IEM Rio, paiN will return to the Major stage after making short work of Fluxo in the 2-0 match. They will later play the winner of Liquid vs. FURIA in a Legends Stage decider.
Liquid, paiN kick off qualifying series with map wins

The first two Americas RMR matches that will qualify teams to the BLAST.tv Paris Major are underway, with Liquid and paiN coming out on top at the onset of their series against FURIA and Fluxo, respectively.
nitr0's men recovered from a 6-9 deficit at halftime on Nuke and ran away with a streak of rounds on their CT side to pull ahead 12-9, and later held a 14-11 lead as well; however, it wasn't until overtime that the North Americans took things over the line, 19-16, with the series now headed to Inferno.
paiN, meanwhile, completely blew Fluxo out of the server 16-1 on Mirage, a grim sign for Adriano "WOOD7" Cerato's men as paiN's pick of Nuke is up next.

Nouns have just seen off Flamengo after a blowout 16-6 victory on Mirage.
MIBR emerge victorious over BESTIA

MIBR have kept their tournament hopes alive after seeing to the elimination of BESTIA in their 1-1 matchup, managing to come out victorious on the Inferno decider thanks to a superpowered 28-17 K-D and 1.82-rated performance from Breno "brnz4n" Poletto.

Flamengo blew past Nouns on Ancient, slaughtering the North American team 16-5 on Ancient after a dominant T side performance.
Nouns take the lead as BESTIA vs. MIBR heads to decider

Nouns struggled to close out a 12-3 lead on Inferno as Flamengo found some form on the T side, but managed to tighten up their defenses to close out the map, 16-12, taking the lead in the series.

Meanwhile, BESTIA managed to force a decider map in their game against MIBR after winning their own pick of Overpass 16-13, The two teams will do battle on Inferno to determine who will be eliminated, and who will remain in the running for a spot in the Challengers Stage of the BLAST.tv Paris Major.
