Liquid secure final Paris Major spot from Americas; FURIA through as Legends
04:04 - Nohte

That's a wrap — Liquid managed to close out Nuke 16-9 to clinch the final Paris Major spot from the Americas, while FURIA made the Legends stage after shutting down a comeback effort from paiN on Mirage to win 16-14.

Nouns steals Liquid's pick of Ancient
02:48 - Nohte

Liquid's BLAST.tv Paris Major aspirations are in danger after they failed to convert a 9-6 lead on their pick of Ancient.

Nouns mustered a stalwart defense off the back of strong multi-fragging from Christopher "cJ dA K1nG" Jones and David "cynic" Polster, attaining match point first at 15-12 before requiring overtime to close things out. The two teams will do battle on Nuke to determine who will claim the final spot at the Paris Major that is on offer at the Americas RMR.

Meanwhile, FURIA also managed to steal away paiN's pick of Nuke 16-8, with the series now heading to a Mirage decider.

paiN take series lead
01:23 - Professeur

1.50 rating, 97.8 ADR, and 12 AWP kills from zevy see paiN take Overpass against FURIA, in the match deciding the Legends spot from Americas.

From a map FURIA played once in the last three months, Overpass, the action now moves to Vertigo on which Andrei "arT" Piovezan and co. played twice in the same period.

Liquid in control
00:47 - Professeur

The final qualification/elimination game is underway and Liquid are in a comfortable lead against Nouns, finishing the T side of Inferno 10-5 up. Seems like we are not in for any surprises tonight.

Fluxo join the Paris team list
23:49 - Professeur

Fluxo close it out with no issues and make it to the Major!

Their coach Wilton "zews" Prado spoke about the match, saying the chaotic nature of the game made it difficult. "It will always be difficult when it is a Brazilian rivalry", he said. He added that Vinicius "vsm" Moreira's qualification for a Major after being banned brings him additional joy.

Complexity will be represented on the first and last CS:GO Major
23:41 - Professeur

The organization and its rosters have changed significantly over the years, but Complexity has been present at the first Major in 2013 and will be at the last one in 2023.

Complexity do it!
23:39 - Professeur

Despite MIBR's best efforts for a comeback, Complexity managed to close out Nuke before it got too scary after a double lobby push from Johnny "JT" Theodosiou and Michael "Grim" Wince.

Complexity are heading to the Major!

Favorites on fire!
23:01 - Professeur

Complexity sits on a 7-3 lead, Fluxo 5-0, both teams boasting a five-round win streak on the T side of Nuke. After a few long days in Monterrey, we might be heading towards a short one today.

Fluxo live up to favorite tag
22:40 - Professeur

Another map pick lost. Paquetá posted a solid offense on Overpass, earning seven rounds, but earned just six on the defense as João "felps" Vasconcellos and co. snagged momentum and ran with it for a 16-13 score.

Complexity stomp on Inferno
22:21 - Professeur

JT's team made quick work of MIBR on the first map, a 16-6 victory is in the bag. Alex "Mauisnake" Ellenberg calls the Americans "giga favorites" on Nuke during the broadcast. 2-0 incoming?

And we are off!
21:41 - Professeur

Grim is looking on fire so far, clutching a 1v2 to bring his tally to 10K-1D as Complexity lead 5-0 on CT Inferno, MIBR's pick. Meanwhile Fluxo are leading 5-2 versus Fluxo as CT on Overpass.

MIBR - Complexity history
21:30 - Professeur

These two teams clashed three times this year already. MIBR took back-to-back wins in the IEM Rio Closed Qualifier in February, but Complexity got revenge just two days later in the RMR qualifiers.

Four matches left to be played on the final day
20:53 - Professeur

While paiN and FURIA have done the bulk of the work already and only have a match for a Legends spot to play, six teams will be battling for the momentous achievement of qualifying for the last CS:GO Major in Paris. Among them is Liquid, who will have to overcome NA side Nouns for the spot.

It's not their fault bro they can only beat the teams that were matched to them. Also it's never a bad thing to get new major stickers.
