Fantasy game live for Europe RMR B

With the final RMR on the horizon, a new Fantasy game is now available.

With the first three RMRs wrapped up, the Fantasy game for the BLAST.tv Paris Major Europe RMR B, starting April 11, is now open for play. This game is part of the Fantasy Spring season, and thus will confer points towards the leaderboard.

Sixteen teams are set to do battle in this RMR for a berth for the Paris Major, and amongst them there are 13 teams ranked inside the top 30. Such a stacked lineup of teams, combined with the fact the event uses a Swiss format, means it is tough to predict who will perform well, and as such makes for a fascinating Fantasy contest.

Unsurprisingly it is the three heavyweight teams of the event, G2, Cloud9 and HEROIC, who dominate the top picks so far, as picking representatives from the best-performing teams is a good approach to take. Comfortably at the top of the pile is Rasmus "⁠HooXi⁠" Nielsen, who is a cheap option at only $174,000 and is likely to pair well with the Leader role.

To give Fantasy players more flexibility in putting together their lineups, there have been several price reductions for some of the most expensive players available.

These adjustments include star AWPers Dmitry "⁠sh1ro⁠" Sokolov, Mathieu "⁠ZywOo⁠" Herbaut and Nicolai "⁠device⁠" Reedtz, as well as prolific riflers Benjamin "⁠blameF⁠" Bremer, Ismailcan "⁠XANTARES⁠" Dörtkardeş and Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač. The reductions make these players more attractive options and with the RMR so stacked and difficult to predict, going for a reliable high-output player could make for a potent strategy.
