Complexity, Fluxo secure BLAST Paris Major spots
North American side Complexity breezed through their qualification bout, whilst Brazilians Fluxo had to fight hard on the first map.
Two of the final three Major spots on offer in the Americas RMR have been claimed by Complexity and Fluxo, with both sides securing their place after 2-0 victories.
Complexity made short work of MIBR to claim their berth, thumping the Brazilians 16-6 on Inferno before taking Nuke 16-12. It was harder work for Fluxo as they were pushed on the first map by Paquetá, but they ultimately claimed a 16-13 win on Overpass and a 16-9 victory on Nuke to qualify for Paris.

For Complexity this RMR was a tale of redemption as they banished the heartbreak of failing to qualify for the IEM Rio Major. In their ill-fated Rio RMR campaign they were bested in painful fashion by Imperial, but it was smoother sailing this time around and they even achieved revenge over Imperial by defeating them in an elimination bout.
Fluxo were an outsider to claim a spot at the BLAST Paris Major, having slipped to No. 58 from a peak ranking of No. 26 amidst a series of underwhelming results, but they shook off any doubts to ensure their appearance in France.
Their qualification marks a return to Major play for João "felps" Vasconcellos, who twice achieved top-four at a Major with the SK lineup that became MIBR. His last showing was at PGL Major Stockholm 2021.
There is still one spot from the Americas RMR left to play for, which will be contested by Liquid and Nouns at 00:15 . FURIA and paiN are also set to battle for the Legends Stage berth on offer, which will also take place at 00:15 .
