Heroic qualify for BLAST Paris Major
The Danes picked up the first of three Legends Stage spots up for grabs in the Europe RMR B tournament.
HEROIC are the first team from the BLAST.tv Paris Major Europe RMR B competition to qualify for the Legends Stage of the Valve-sponsored event in France.
The current team list for the BLAST Paris Major is as follows:
The Danes put up a flawless 3-0 record during their time in Copenhagen, beginning their Major-qualifying run with best-of-one victories over 500 (16-8) and Aurora (16-14) before advancing to their final bout versus Monte.

HEROIC enjoyed a hot start versus the Ukrainians in the 2-0 matchup, racing to a 12-3 lead by the end of their CT-side effort, with Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard doing the bulk of the heavy lifting with a 1.71-rated performance on the defense.
Monte refused to bow out, however, bringing things back to within three rounds, 12-15, after a stellar CT-side showing of their own. In the end, however, the recovery lacked the momentum to go the distance, and the Danes closed things out in regulation, 16-12, to get a leg-up in the series.
Overpass was an even more hard-fought affair, with the Danes only being able to lead by three rounds at the conclusion of their T-side campaign. Solid performances from Sergiy "DemQQ" Demchenko and Volodymyr "Woro2k" Veletniuk kept the Ukrainians afloat, and brought the games to a dead-even 14-14 split.
Nonetheless, the Danes' experience came through, stringing together the two rounds they needed to close out Overpass, 16-14, and advance to the last-ever CS:GO Major as Legends.

Monte now turn their attention towards their next outing at the RMR, which will be versus either G2 or FORZE, depending on the outcome of the ongoing series between Vitality and 9INE.
Monte have hit the ground running and surpassed all expectations during their time in Denmark. The squad have dispatched ENCE and Cloud9 — two top-10 sides — thus far and will look to keep their strong showings going in their next best-of-three on the menu.
