AMANEK on LDLC benching: "Psychologically I couldn't be present for my teammates"
The Frenchman departs LDLC after eight months on the team.
François "amanek" Delaunay was moved to LDLC's bench on Thursday. In a TwitLonger, the French player revealed that the decision was made by the president, staff, and his teammates.
"I could not find my balance in the game and outside the game, thus affecting my attitude and my behavior towards the people who were working with me on a daily basis," amanek reflected on his time on the team. "My ego was the biggest culprit."

amanek, who is most known for being a part of G2's squad in grand final appearances at IEM Katowice 2020, IEM Cologne 2020, and PGL Major Stockholm 2021, has been with LDLC since July 2022.
During his eight months in the French squad, he showed an impressive individual level and averaged a 1.07 rating. Team success was hard to come by, though, as their solitary tournament win came at the local SteelSeries Nova Cup France Fall 2022. Inconsistent results culminated in the team hovering around #60 in the world rankings, seemingly unable to take the next step.
The team have been playing with coach Lambert "Lambert" Prigent in ESL Challenger League Season 45 Europe after amanek's removal, with his replacement currently not yet announced.
LDLC are currently:
Aurélien "afro" Drapier
Arthur "Snobling" Benard
Filip "Graviti" Brankovic
Hugo "Brooxsy" Di Bono
Lambert "Lambert" Prigent (coach)
