ENC with €120,000 prize purse

The Electronic Sports League has announced that the European Nations Championship has received a massive prize money boost.

The news of the 120,000 to be handed out next season - the biggest prize purse in the history of the competition - comes in the wake of ASUS, one of the ESL's main partners, stepping up their support to become the tournament's head sponsor.

The 2010 ENC season, which will feature six different games, including Counter-Strike for male and female teams, will be renamed to ASUS European Nations Championship as a consequence of the new sponsorship deal.

More information about tournament rules and country rankings will be released at a later date.

If in 2008 it was 55.000 EUR and for 2009 there was a 21.500 EUR cut I presume it would have been a total prize pursue of 33.500 EUR ::)

Good thing I always invest my money in ASUS products, that means I'm a Co sponsor ;D Anyway I think ESL wants that ENC becomes the biggest cs tournament like World Cup. Thumbs up!
