The Major qualifier for the BLAST.tv Paris Major saw an unprecedented number of teams overperforming the community's expectations. To understand why that happened, Into the Breach's Thomas "⁠Thomas⁠" Utting and Bad News Eagles's Flatron "⁠juanflatroo⁠" Halimi will take part in the post-RMR episode of HLTV Confirmed.

The Kosovar team qualified for the third consecutive Major

Guided by Zvonimir "⁠Professeur⁠" Burazin and Milan "⁠Striker⁠" Švejda, as Chad "⁠SPUNJ⁠" Burchill misses out due to his commitments in Brazil, the show will focus on the two guest's experiences in online tournaments, successes in Denmark, and thoughts on other teams that made and didn't make the Major. Time allowing, a preview of the upcoming IEM Rio will be on the table too.

but tier 2 teams still qualify on other events right ? or some tournaments are only for partnered teams ? and there is no chance to go there if you arent partnered how it is ?

Yes they can still qualify for the event Partner teams make up the majority of teams in the event, let’s take iem rio that starts tmr, 6/16 teams have qualified, and some teams are big(not a small team, at least quite well known), mibr and some other teams like 9z, and imperial which got the spot by luck. It’s much more difficult to qualify for any other event Teams like Bne itb apeks nounce gamer legion have to train and play amazingly just to get to the event, so they can get matched with Navi or heroic and bomb out from last place. Not really fair is it? Yes Navi heroic are much stronger teams and they should beat teams that I have listed above, but I think they should be able to play more events so that the scene overall can improve

Blast events are basically partner only (the major is ofc an exception because its valve ruleset and not blast )

What does this qualificiation mean for ITB (aside from "we're happy")? Have things changed? Like goals, support staff, playstyle? In a sense, Juanflatroo can also answer this question but retrospectively. Maybe there are things BNE can warn ITB for or is it just rainbows and sunshine when you make the step up?
