Antwerp Aces snare stryker
Antwerp Aces have announced the addition of Tom "stryker" Colyn to the Counter-Strike team.
The Belgian team, previously known as Rodcad Gaming, had their last international appearance at DreamHack Winter, where a draw with Begrip earned them a spot in the playoffs before exiting the competition at the hands of fnatic.
Colyn, who has been included in the Belgium squad for ClanBase NationsCup, will assume Jannick "Duncan" De Thaeye's position on the team after the ex-LowLandLions man was released for his poor relationship with his team-mates.
"There were some internal discussions between Duncan and the team, and his motivation to keep practicing was gone," Felix "nunji" van de Put told HLTV.org. "stryker was the best option, he is a pretty new and really talented player who is really motivated."
Antwerp Aces are looking to compete in the next GameGune tournament, which will reportedly take place some time in the summer, in Bilbao.
This move leaves Antwerp Aces as:
Dries "ciseta" van Houdt
Fréderic "Monu" Dewever
Jules "nookbrid" Wydoodt
Felix "nunji" van de Put
Tom "stryker" Colyn
