The Canadian captain departs EG Black after eight months.

Evil Geniuses have bid farewell to Peter "⁠stanislaw⁠" Jarguz, releasing the Canadian captain after he was replaced by Jadan "⁠HexT⁠" Postma on EG Black following the 21-year-old's demotion from the organization's main roster.

stanislaw is a free agent

stanislaw joined EG Black in August 2022, but the team found limited success under his leadership. He played just 86 maps (ten events) over the eight months he was with them — 55 of those being in ESL Challenger League Seasons 42-44 — and the team failed to win a single event during that span, with their best results being a runner-up finish in ECL Season 43.

He was sidelined from EG Black's starting roster when HexT was moved down to make room for Ismail "⁠refrezh⁠" Ali, and didn't take part in the ESL Challenger Melbourne qualifier nor the BLAST Premier Spring Americas Showdown.

I agree, he definitely had a solid run of form, and I remember when Liquid first picked him up with a good deal of hype around the move. Nothing came of it, but that roster was big in helping Twistzz gain some LAN experience and was no pushover in tournaments. Then he moved onto EG and did some serious damage during the Astralis Era, but it's largely forgotten now.
