IOL 2010 Finals #1 set to start

The first LAN Finals of the Inferno Online 2010 season will kick off on Saturday with sixteen teams playing for a spot in the overall final.

Unlike what happened in 2009, the finals of the first and second seasons of 2010 will take place at the same weekend, though on different days.

Both tournaments will kick off with four groups of four teams, with the winners and runners-up progressing to a single-elimination stage, played in single elimination. Only the Grand Final of each tournament will be played in best-of-three. Then, the two winners will take on one another to decide the overall champion.

The first day looks to be a very exciting one, as the likes of Ledpc, SK Gaming and Ravens are in contention for the spot in the overall final. On Sunday, it will be time for Begrip, LatterLigLett and H2k-Gaming's new team to prove their worth. You must not forget to keep an eye on IOS_mixen, who are composed of ex-SK pair Michael "ahl" Korduner and Christer "fisker" Eriksson.
