GenOne part ways with roster
The organization’s chief executive, Sebastien "KRL" Perez, stated that they will focus on the academy roster moving forward.
GenOne have announced that they are parting ways with their roster, which featured one-time WESG World Finals winner Christophe "SIXER" Xia, after a poor start to the year.
KRL said in his statement that the organization were "taking a different direction," and would now focus their efforts on their academy squad. He did not, according to VaKarM, close the doors to picking up another roster in the future.

In 2022 GenOne won several regional competitions, namely La Coupe 3 Paris and NumberOne Season 3, on their way to a peak ranking of No. 66 in the world. The team also pulled in a massive payday by winning the WhiteBIT Community Clash right at the end of the year, earning themselves $175,000 for their efforts.
Results took a turn for the worse in 2023 for GenOne, with the team winning just six of the sixteen HLTV-recorded matches they played and sporting a 2-3 record in ESEA Advanced.
Their losses in Advanced were the most concerning as they did not come against the best teams in the division, the French side losing instead to teams like SHIPACHI and HYDRA. This coincided with the team dropping well outside the top 100 in the world ranking.
It is unclear if any of the roster will stick together in the search for a new home, but Jérémy "jeyN" Nguyen announced in a Twitlonger post he was leaving the team following their departure from GenOne.
The players leaving GenOne are:
Noé "NeOo" Guenego
Christophe "SIXER" Xia
Jérémy "jeyN" Nguyen
Damien "wasiNk" Dufour

Ermek 'enzero' Kartanbaev
Georgiy 'Vert' Kinzyagulov
Vladyslav 'leri511' Dryha
