Paris Major stickers and viewer pass released

With less than four days to go before the BLAST.tv Paris Major begins, the team and player stickers have been released.

Valve has shipped a new update to CS:GO, which brings the long-awaited BLAST.tv Paris Major team sticker capsules, player autograph stickers, and viewer pass.

Along with the comes the popular Pick'Em Challenge, in which fans can try their hand at predicting the results of the Paris Major and work towards the Diamond Coin.

The viewer pass gives access to the Pick'Em challenge as well as souvenir packages and unlimited team graffiti for the duration of the event, and costs $9.49.

Capsules, which as always have been distributed into three different categories depending on the teams' Contender, Challenger, or Legend status at the Major, cost $0.95 each.

The participating teams earn 50% of the proceeds from the viewer pass and capsules, which in the past amounted to over a whopping $70 million in total across the PGL Majors in Stockholm and Antwerp.

The BLAST.tv Paris Major kicks off with the Challengers Stage on May 8 and will run through May 21. The tournament will be the final Major in CS:GO ahead of the release of Counter-Strike 2, whose first Major is scheduled to take place in March 2024 and will be organized by PGL in Copenhagen.

The value of such items depends on : 1- their numerical value (scarcity) 2- their symbolical value (being a true CSGO fan) How to satisfy those conditions ? 1- wait 8 years to make yours the last on the market 2- It's the last CSGO major items ever. History will be made here, ppl will feel melancholy aswell. GGs, you've just earned yourself 10K bucks for 100€ invested.

I wouldn't recommand investing into skins at all, since it all depends on luck, unless there's a legendary clutch with a certain weapon you think you'd be able to obtain And 6-8 years is known to be the right number of years for the market to empty itself AND to make past events look real old, while everybody actually remembers it, thus creating a feeling of proudness and maximizing demand From a values POV, buying such items is litterally a false proof of you being a connaisseur. This is the market.

Let me tell you, the skin community absolutely does NOT want the same stickers every time. If they keep doing this, the stickers will lose both their investment potential (which would lose a LOT of sales) and a lot of their hype since we'll know what they look like anyway and have almost the same ones already (which, again, loses a lot of sales).

This is not like kato 14 at all bro. Holo effects are washed out again, the spacing is bad, logos still don't fill the entire sticker area, the paris logo is offset again. There's way too much negative space on a lot of logos again, and they still have an obnoxious design inside all the logos. Overall, nothing like any katowice sticker. This is just another copy paste job with no improvements.

It doesn't have to at all, and meanwhile they just copy pasted three tournaments. You can make more deliberate holo effects like kato 14, you can make it more symmetrical, have it fill out the whole sticker sheet, remove negative space etc. And make great looking stickers. That doesn't mean it's identical to kato 14. It can't be at this point, none of the logos look anything alike unfortunately. They suck nowadays.

cs says pickems will be locked in 2 days and 17 hours, but since this is valve, there will most likely be another bug when it will be possible to change teams within an hour after pickems are locked
