Paris Major Challengers Stage round 2 matchups set

The likes of Liquid, MOUZ, and OG have to fight back at the end of the day to avoid the elimination zone.

The second round of matchups at the BLAST.tv Paris Major Challengers Stage have been set following the conclusion of round one of the Swiss format, based on the teams' initial seeding and their win-loss record.

Round two will begin at 18:00 with the pool of winners from the first round. Big favorites will face their second test in the opening duels as FaZe play paiN and G2 lock horns with Complexity.

ENCE play NIP next after beating OG in the opener

Apeks vs. Grayhound will follow after the two sides upset higher-ranked opposition in Liquid and FORZE, respectively, along with one of the highlight matches of the day — ENCE vs. Ninjas in Pyjamas.

Matches of the 0-1 pool will be played from approximately 21:00 under the accelerated schedule as teams hope to avoid entering the elimination zone. Monte will play the lowest-ranked team of the tournament, Fluxo, to start while GamerLegion face off against The MongolZ.

The day will close out with two more highlight bouts, Liquid vs. FORZE and MOUZ vs. OG, two teams who are currently inseparable in the ranking as they hold the exact same amount of points (239) in 11th and 12th place.
