GamerLegion continue to impress at the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Challengers Stage following their 2-1 win over OG, marking the second top-15 scalp they have taken in the Swiss stage. They will enter the last day of play with a 2-2 record and the potential of completing their recovery from a 0-2 start in France.

The latest defeat means OG have been eliminated from the organization's second-ever Valve-sponsored event with a 1-3 record, a marginally worse performance compared to their 2-3 exit at IEM Rio 2022.

Keoz tried to keep his team's spirits high throughout the series

Casper "⁠ruggah⁠" Due's team did not have an easy run in the Swiss stage as they faced ENCE, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and a surprising GamerLegion on their way to elimination. Despite their early exit from the event, the squad can look back at a few sensational performances from degster and Shahar "⁠flameZ⁠" Shushan during their run.

OG maintained a good level of play throughout Overpass (13-16) and especially Mirage (16-8) as they went into the decider on Ancient (7-16) with significant momentum behind them. The decision to leave the decider unbanned in the veto could be considered their biggest mistake of the day as they had previously lost the same matchup against GamerLegion at the RMR last month.

Monte eliminate TheMongolz from the Paris Major

Mihai "⁠iM⁠" Ivan was by far the best performer for siuhy's team today as he averaged a 1.30 rating across the series and a 1.45 impact score. GamerLegion will now wait for the conclusion of today's matches to find out who they will face on Thursday for a spot in the Legends Stage.

GL is unexpectedly good in BO3, let's what they can show tomorrow. OG without nexa is playing worse, that's a fact sadly.

Just bad luck for OG. Played Ence, Mouz, Nip and GL. If they had CoL and Mongolz in first two like GL they will be still here. Just unlucky against Nip and just bad schedule. I do believe that Neofrag has no brain, some moves are pure gold nova, fiku is a decent support. Missing the proper IGL. I'm starting to belive that F1ku and Neofrag kinda had their time to prove themselves but it isn't working. Maybe internet explorer moment? i've reading those -Neofrag -F1ku threads for like the first month they were on the team, but a lot of time passed since.
