Coldfrag\ekr: "Ledpc tried to cheat"

Coldfrag member Viktor "ekr" Wejner has accused Ledpc eSports Club of wrongdoing during their IOL group encounter.

The Spanish team had claimed the necessary 16 rounds to win the match, but the admins decided to take three rounds from three due to an illegal pause in the first half after David "Kairi" Miguel had disconnected.

Ledpc, who paused the match some seconds into a round, claimed the server configurations did not allow them to pause during freezetime, but Viktor "ekr" Wenjer says the Spaniards had the chance to stop the match during freezetime but only did so after the round had started.

"They [Ledpc] asked us to put pausable on, and we did it 6 seconds before freezetime was over," he told HLTV.org "Still, they decided to pause after the freezetime was over, ruining our momentum and also managing to get more startmoney than he had when he lost connection."

Wejner claims that both teams were informed of the three-round loss for Ledpc even during the pause, saying, "The head admin walked to both teams explaining that Ledpc would receive a three-round penalty as a consequence of pausing in the middle of the round, as clearly stated by the rules."

After the match, Ledpc protested against the three-round penalty, claiming that a head admin had told them they could pause the match in the middle of round.

"That was a complete lie, I personally asked the admin which had just arrived a short moment after Ledpc had paused and the only thing he said was, 'You have to wait until the next round to pause'," Wejnerer noted.

The Coldfrag player stressed that it was his team, who had the rcon, who put pausable on and he sees it a nice gesture of their part to do so, as it "is the admins' job to configure the server, not the teams'".

He added that he believes Ledpc paused half way through a round even though they knew it was not allowed because they were surprised by the Swedish team's strength: "I believe they were afraid, we were much better than they had expected and they knew we were a threat to them. It was Ledpc who tried to cheat, not us."

Ledpc, who finished second at the IOL #1 Finals after a 2-0 loss to SK Gaming, will play tonight the third and fourth place decider with the losing finalist of today's tournament.

This is what happened: At 4-5 T-side inferno, one of ledpc's players got timed out. They ask us to put pausable on, and we did it 6(!) seconds before freezetime was over. Still they decided to pause after the freezetime was over, ruining our momentum and also managing to get more startmoney than he had gotten if he'd joined the following round(which he should've) He also managed to join the same round, which THEY WON. During the pause, the head admin walks to both teams clearifying with the rules in hand that ledpc would receive a -3 penalty as a consequence of pausing in the middle of the round, as clearly stated by the rules. We keep on playing the match, and due to the pause I believe ledpc got alot more rounds as CT than they deserved. After switching sides we totally destroyed the spaniards, and when reaching the 14th round we wrote GG and the admin told us that we'd won the match, but also to finish the rest of the rounds as good manners. We then start switching positions, start running around without caring and one of our players even buys the shotgun(!):D, we knew we'd already won. After the match was over, ledpc starts a conflict, telling the head admin that they'd asked an admin that was standing behind them if it was okay to pause, and that he'd said yes. THIS WAS A COMPLETE LIE. I personally asked the admin which had just arrived a short moment AFTER ledpc had paused and the only thing he'd said was "YOU HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT ROUND TO PAUSE". I told musamban1 that it was a shame after his some 6 years of playing at a professional level, he and his team should know that never do you pause in an ongoing round. He countered with "you called us noobs so thats bad manners bla bla" The admins we're nevertheless taking sides with LEDPC, EVENTHOUGH THEY SAID WE WON AT 14-11. None of the people that had seen the match could believe their ears. After about fourty minutes of arguing the head admins FINALLY DECIDED what they had said from the beginning, FOLLOWING THE RULES WRITTEN, AND GIVEN TO EVERY TEAM THERE. That we WON the game FAIRLY. Why did ledpc pause after the freezetime? -Personally I believe they were afraid, we were much better than they had expected and they knew we were a threat to them. Secondly, they won the round that was paused and were also able to be 5 players instead of four. Thirdly, it is the ADMINS job to configure the server, not the TEAMS. As a fourth: WE DID MANAGE TO GET RCON AND TURN PAUSABLE ON BEFORE FREEZETIME WAS OVER. Lastly, to be completely honest they played really bad. If I were from spain I would be ashamed of having them as the countrys best team. We totally DESTROYED THEM as CT, and won really easy at 14-11. Then we lolled away the last couple of rounds knowing that we'd already won. This is the truth, and the only truth about this game. You love your ledpc so much, you don't even care that they lied to the head admin to try to not recieve penalties for something that HAS ALWAYS BEEN ILLEGAL TO DO, PAUSE AFTER THE FREEZETIME WAS OVER. HLTV.ORG and all other communities out there, I erge you to read this post and change your writing, we won this game easily and without question. It was ledpc that tried to cheat, not us.

So from what i've seen, and read, LedPC member crashed, and had to rejoin, but there was no pausable, so coldfrag with rcon enabled it, but didnt bother to hit Pause instead let LedPC rush to get a 5th in and pause after since Coldfrag had "momentum" (this is another word for, we were 1 member up so we were going to rush). Honestly, you can can write blocks about LedPC all you want, ekr, you're the one (and your team) who's going to come across badly about this, you look like kids.

What is kind of sad is that Coldfrag is a mix of old semi players from Sweden, they hadn't practiced anything before this event and just decided to role up for the fun of it :) I don't think LedPC took a vacation before this event so ofcourse they're gonna protest when they loose against a mix.

Haha seriously, First of all dont even compare LedPC to any other international topteam like fnatic, sk, mtw, mym, mousesports etc. Ofcourse LedPC can beat these teams in a single match, but at the moment there is a huge diference in consistency between LedPC and the topteams. Coldfrags lineup was at first relife malaria givar and 2 more, the night before the tournament(read: friday night) the lineup was changed and the only player left in the original lineup was malaria i think. So they did not play together for this event and even though they won agains ledPC(they started buying shotgun and tmp when they had 14 rounds). You can argue if the admin did the right thing, in this level the admin should take conflicts AFTER the game is played not during the game. Anyhow LedPC lost and they should be happy about that. Because in this way they didnt have to meet SK in the quarterfinals wich means they're now playing for third place sinsce they met them in the semi instead. LedPC knows this and even a retard like eviden and XupinatoR should understand this too.

The difference between coldfrag and ledpc is this: 1.- Coldfrag are a bunch of 16 year old kids who went on a massive crying spree because one ledpc member dropped and pause didnt work as expected. My god, this wasnt ledpc's fault but staff's one. 2.- Coldfrag also started dropping some tears when playzone finished 2nd. Furthermore they lost to them. 3.- Ledpc won a top team such as Ravens. And they will finish 3-4th. Where is coldfrag? I see. 4.- Only stupid kids like you would come HLTV forums to insult a team such as ledpc which tried to play fair and competitive during whole tournament, unlike you. 5.- I gotta love when Ekr said "we werent active, we gathered the team 1 day before the event". Ok Ekr , if u take a look at the demo LedPC on Groups were playing with just standards rounds they were doing almost the same attact at T site, really thet were not worry about u guys but ur team did a good match nobody can say nothing about it but you are taking this on a stupid and retard way , saying that u destroy ledpc at ct is kinda just a joke if u read what i wrote on the begining :D and u need to work in ur attitude and ur maneers and if u think u are good then say it for ur self not to everyone u are just a litle child that needs to grow up but dont worry when u get older u will do it :) . For the sweedish fans : i believe before ledpc face ENERIC many sweedish say : no way ledpc will stop fury and florenz or eneric will win right ? and dont say no cuz it was like that, what happen ? ledpc won right ? ok :) ledpc vs ravens also the same ( ravens beat already mous sk again and some others top teams) so i wont compare ledpc with sk or fnatic but if ledpc had beat raven can beat any other team that they want but not gonna happen today but with more work u will see dont understimate ledpc is a good team and is working his way to be a top in a close future . Yes, it where nice that they won vs Ravens. But imo Ravens didnt have a good event, they even had problems vs Femton in the groupstage. But that doesnt take away Ledpc win. Ledpc played well some matches, but still... It will be a thrill too see what the future can bring for us regarding Ledpc and Ravens. Both teams need to shape up if they want to remain in european top 20, if they even are that now.

So let me get this: you knew that Ledpc will recieve penalization of 3 rounds, and you "lolplayed" the rest of the game, ok. As stupid as this rule looks to me its clear that a pause in 6s of the freezetime doesnt changed shit for you, may be equial the loss of the dc, so they got 3 round less and played knowing it, may be affecting their morale but NO EXCUSES. Besides your childish acts ingame calling them noobs and using shit weapons, that only shows how mature you are. Ledpc played with standard tactics in groups, as many top teams do(i dont say they are internationally, but in spain its for sure). But again, no excuses, they understimated you and lost, no big deal. They tried to make admins see that the rule is stupid and punish you for your childish behaviour ingame, you started to sweat, and thats one of the reasons you are here now. The fun part is when you start with "we totally destroyed ledpc", "we are mix and we are so good". Ok, thats just a joke. This guys of Ledpc made a hell of a tournament winning a "slightly" better team like ENERIC and winning the big surprise on the EMS Ravens without problems where it matters, in brackets. It seems that doesnt means much to you, but i dont see you even getting some rounds to playzone, who are a good team but not better that the mentioned. What i mean is that this wasn't really necessary, makes you look like a fool and disturbing all the spanish fans, and not without a reason. IM SURE that Ledpc will make it to the top10 soon enough, and the same amount of guys making fun of them here will search xhiroz to sign their shirt and to ask Musa if they can have a picture with him. And you will be still here "destroying ledpc on CT side".

Whats your point? Also you have to understand, none of us have ever aimed for a counter-strike career. If that had been my main goal in life I wouldve kept on playing back in 2006 when close friends of mine(molander,blomstar,get_right) were on the rise.

Ill have to agree here, hands down you guys played well and put up a great fight throughout the entire LAN. But saying they tried to cheat.. wow this topic is crazy... the thing i do not understand is, that LedPC asked the admin if pausable in the same round would be ok. LedPC´s version was, he said it would be ok, but in fact (applying to eKr´s declaration above) he never did. And the admin can confirm that this is a lie, so what to discuss more (btw, LedPC should know better and i guess they do^^). I didn´t watch the game and i don´t know how and if this influenced the game, but if it did and according to eKr again it did, Coldfrag are right in my opinion. I know this topic is very hot and complicated, but a fanboywar "which team is low" and things like that which all results in pure flaming here as u all see have nothing to do with this topic. Think better twice before u go personal and post stupid comments. i don´t want to blame anyone here, was just my opinion

I think its embarrassing that LedPC even had problems against Coldfrag, even lost because of the pause. Even more embarrassing is it when Ledpc after the game starts bitching about the decision admin made is just wtf? LedPC isnt the only international team that "cheated" btw :PP
