FORZE open to offers for Jerry, zorte

The duo will remain on the active roster if no suitable offers come in.

FORZE have announced that they are open to transfer offers for Andrey "⁠Jerry⁠" Mekhryakov and Aleksandr "⁠zorte⁠" Zagodyrenko. The organization stated that the duo isn't removed from the roster and will "continue to train with the team and play official matches after the vacation" if no transfer is found.

Jerry's potential departure from FORZE would bring an end to a six-year partnership between the player and organization, during which the Russian in-game leader oversaw several rebuilds and found success with every iteration of the roster, becoming the face of the team in the process. The 25-year-old has stated on Twitter that he is now "ready to move on" after his long adventure with the organization.

zorte joined the team at the beginning of 2021. His recent performances at ESL Pro League Season 17 and the BLAST.tv Paris Major cycle in particular have made him one of the most talked-about AWPers from the region, as he averaged a superb 1.24 rating across 25 maps playing against top-tier opposition.

FORZE have had a busy 2023 so far, playing in several online cups as well as qualifying for tier-one events during the year. Their biggest success came at ESL Pro League Season 17, where the Russian squad beat Natus Vincere and ENCE on their way to a top-eight finish. Jerry and company also qualified for the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, but losses to FaZe and GamerLegion condemned them to a 2-3 exit in the Challengers Stage.

The team recently won the $200,000 CCT 2023 Online Finals 1, claiming their first title of the year after a convincing grand final win against ECSTATIC before ending the season with a semi-final exit at ESL Challenger Katowice 2023.

FORZE's first big event after the tournament break will be the IEM Cologne Play-In starting on July 25, as they received an invite due to their ESL ranking.
