Official: FURIA complete roster with chelo

The 25-year-old joins the team alongside Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo.

FURIA have finalized their roster ahead of the fall season, completing their roster with Marcelo "⁠chelo⁠" Cespedes after confirming the addition of FalleN earlier on Monday.

The complete roster image was initially leaked in an ad in Times Square in New York shortly after the organization announced the addition of FalleN, as first reported by Dust2.us.

chelo joins FURIA after a year-long stint on Imperial, during which time he averaged a 1.09 rating on LAN (1.16 impact) and helped the team secure second place at ESL Challenger Melbourne, qualify for the IEM Rio Major, and most recently make it to the semi-finals of the BLAST Spring Final.

He joins FURIA alongside FalleN, with the pair replacing André "⁠drop⁠" Abreu and Rafael "⁠saffee⁠" Costa, respectively. The new-look Brazilian lineup will debut in the Play-in stage of IEM Cologne 2023 on July 26.

People really underestimate art as an IGL. This can really work well, art is really creative for creating plays and fallen is really good in mid-rounding. I think their characteristics compliment each other's. This can really be a great team, excited to see what happens

He's okay with being sent to suicide missions whenever, also he's good at taking 1 or 2 while doing it. Plus he can awp. Also he knows the majority of furia players and has built some chemistry with them. Would be pretty stupid not to have him on this team for now
