The team are down to just two players after the departures of Laurențiu "⁠lauNX⁠" Țârlea and Victor "⁠Staehr⁠" Staehr during the off-season.

Sprout have bid farewell to Adrian "⁠XELLOW⁠" Guță, ending the 22-year-old's 6-month stint with the team and leaving them with just two players on their active roster.Rumors currently point to Spirit's Ihor "⁠w0nderful⁠" Zhdanov as his replacement.

XELLOW is longer a part of Sprout

XELLOW averaged a 1.00 rating during his time as Sprout's AWPer, with the team struggling to find much success in their 2023 tournament appearances. Joined the team. Got to play one qualifier event where they got slapped. The whole team got destroyed right after and he got stuck in roster shuffle and igl-less hell for 6 months where everybody blamed the poor performance on him. Gets cut for not stat padding in a dying team that lost 90% of their games. He got shafted really hard. He didnt put up any insane numbers but he is a far better individual than slaxz-. Just got a way worse version of Sprout. Not even DeadFox faced such scrutiny and he was awful in a successful team.

Honestly, kinda shit move from Sprout. They bought him in and he couldn't catch a break with their rostermania. They didn't have an IGL, they tried like 2 or 3, Staehr was already talking to Astralis, lauNX was also pretty sure of leaving. It was an entire circus down there and it's kinda shit to put it on Xellow. He definitely had the raw-skill to do it in a much more stable roster with more freedom to play with. Once he got a little bit of room, he started doing better nevertheless. He shouldn't return to Romania, he definitely deserves another shot in an international roster.
