MICHU returns on IKLA

The Polish rifler has found a team to call home after over a year.

IKLA have announced the addition of Michał "⁠MICHU⁠" Müller to their roster. The Pole is the third piece of the organization's international lineup, where he joins Oleksii "⁠Topa⁠" Topchiienko and Vladyslav "⁠Kvem⁠" Korol.

MICHU's last recorded official on HLTV's database dates back to December 2022, when he briefly stood in for Apeks during a period of roster instability.

His last stint as a full-time player on an active roster was with MAD Lions at the start of 2022, but he spent just three months playing for the team before the organization closed its Counter-Strike division and transfer-listed its lineup.

He also plied his trade for Evil Geniuses, Envy, and Virtus.pro in past years, achieving a handful of deep runs with the latter team in international events, including runner-up finishes at V4 Future Sports Festival 2018 & 2019, CSGO Asia Championships 2018, and a 3-4 finish at IEM Shanghai 2018.

Despite the recent instability, MICHU averaged a 1.08 rating, 1.04 impact, and 0.70 kills per round over the course of 2022, remaining a dependable rifler particularly against lower-tier opposition. His performances dipped off when taking on top 20 opponents (0.96 rating over 26 maps), but remained somewhat more stable against top 50 (1.02 over 52 maps).
