Vitality breeze past Complexity at BLAST Groups
The reigning Major champions are now one victory away from qualifying for the BLAST Fall Final.

Vitality continued their reign of terror against North American opposition by demolishing Complexity in a two-map series. The match started with a 16-1 drubbing on Inferno before the European combine closed out the series on Vertigo with a 16-6 scoreline.
The integration of new addition Shahar "flameZ" Shushan into the Vitality system looks to be going well, with Lotan "Spinx" Giladi admitting that he thought the transition would be harder in the pre-match interview, a sentiment shared by Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut after their win.
The win puts Vitality just one victory away from the Fall Final as they now await their opponents in the Group A Final. ZywOo and company have looked electric at the event so far, losing just sixteen rounds across two best-of-three series.
Complexity's performance puts a sour note on their campaign, especially after their impressive opening victory against Ninjas in Pyjamas. While the North American squad showed promise on their debut, their performance against Vitality left much to be desired. They now await the winner of the game between Evil Geniuses and Ninjas in Pyjamas in the consolidation final.
Complexity picked Inferno even though they lost it in their opener against Ninjas in Pyjamas, and the opening few rounds didn't go their way. Vitality pulled off a 5vs5 retake in the pistol round and weathered Complexity's forcebuys, which meant they were 6-0 up before the North Americans got a full buy together. Their woes didn't stop there, however, as Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli was the only member of his team providing resistance, with two of his 1vsX clutch attempts stopped by the final CT. Complexity had to wait until the final round of the half to get on the board, doing so with a quick B attack. That saved them from the ultimate humiliation of a 16-0, as Vitality won the second pistol round to ensure a 16-1 victory.
Vitality also mirrored their pick from their opening game by choosing Vertigo. ZywOo and company once again proved their class in a heavily one-sided affair, getting up to 11 rounds before Complexity were able to get on the board. That minuscule amount of success at least breathed some life into the North American defense, who won two out of the next three rounds to go into the second half 3-12 down. Vitality's second-round pistol made their win a mere formality, and the European combine closed out with a 16-6 scoreline to put themselves one victory away from the BLAST Fall Final.
