Astralis Talent sign JBOEN, kiR
The academy roster now needs just one player to complete its lineup for the fall season.

Jason "JBOEN" Boe Nielsen and Andreas "kiR" Kirstein have put pen to paper and signed with Astralis Talent, the Danish organization has been announced.
The incoming duo follow in the footsteps of Alexander "alexsomfan" Nielsen, who was announced as the academy roster's new head coach just three days ago on July 24.

JBOEN joins Astralis Talent as quite the unknown quantity. The Dane has played just 24 HLTV-featured maps in his career so far, all of which came during his seven-month stint with Atlantic. JBOEN averaged a modest 0.94 rating in his time with the squad, but was notably a part of the lineup that secured a runners-up finish at the POWER Ligaen Season 23 Finals behind none other than Astralis Talent.
kiR, meanwhile, joins Astralis' academy division with a fair amount of experience under his belt, including with Astralis Talent, whom he acted as a stand-in for briefly during the team's run through POWER Ligaen Season 22.
The 23-year-old has also played for well-known Danish teams Tricked and MASONIC, where he posted 0.97 and 0.99 ratings respectively. kiR most recently was a part of CEPTER, where he played alongside alexsomfan, before the 29-year-old was unveiled as Astralis Talent's new coach.
"The task is quite simple: We must build on the work that has already been done at Astralis Talent and be even better at taking advantage of the very skilled and experienced organization around the Counter-Strike teams," commented alexsomfan, the team's head coach.
"On the team side, we must build a roster with the right mix of young talent with great potential and experience that can be developed further within our framework.
"Therefore, it is both gratifying and important that we can already put a tick next to two names from the top of the list. While JBOEN is undoubtedly a huge talent who needs time to develop, kiR comes with much more experience. However, kiR also has the potential for much more and I see a future, really skilled in-game leader in him."
Astralis Talent now have the following lineup:
Mikkel "MistR" Thomsen
Alexander "Altekz" Givskov
Jason "JBOEN" Boe Nielsen
Andreas "kiR" Kirstein
Alexander "alexsomfan" Nielsen (coach)
