furby inactive; Wizards add hankey
Team Wizards have announced the addition of Raul "hankey" Fernández Poolan to the Counter-Strike team.
The arrival of Poolan at Wizards comes as a major surprise in the scene, the Spanish player having only represented semi-top teams before the move.
The former 4FRAGS member will fill the shoes of Daniel "furby" Frías Luna, who has stepped down as player to become inactive following personal problems, which affected the team's training routine.
Despite Poolan's lack of experience at a top level, Wizards are confident he will be a quality asset to the team.
"He is a kid in which we see a lot of potential and we wanted to give him a chance," Juan Ricardo "dante" de Mingo told HLTV.org "We did not care about how famous the new player had to be, but with his performances."
Wizards suffered a 16-9 defeat to Ledpc tonight in Poolan's debut for the team, a result which put them in second place on nine points.
The Spanish team plan on attending the second KODE5 qualifier in Spain, whose date and location have not yet been announced.
Wizards have now:
Alberto "neptuNo" Molinillo
José Luis "Kulty" Canto Tortosa
Eduardo "msk" Sánchez González
Juan Ricardo "dante" de Mingo
Raul "hankey" Fernández Poolan
Daniel "furby" Frías Luna (inactive)
