Two 16-team single-elimination Fantasy games will begin next week.

A Fantasy game has opened for the $1,000,000 Gamers8 tournament, which will award the users points in the $10,000 Fall season leaderboard and individual prizes to the top three finishers.

- The tournament gets underway on Wednesday, August 16

- 16 teams will battle it out in a single-elimination bracket, with all matches being played in a BO3 format

- Your Fantasy performance mainly depends on the ability to pick the players that will make it far in the tournament. A viable strategy is picking players from four or even five different teams, consequently decreasing the chance of both bottom and top placements

- Players are advised to consider that cheap players are sometimes better eliminated with three-point penalties than scoring negative points in more rounds, especially if they fail to activate roles and boosters
